The media could not be loaded. The vinyl coated wire rope by Tgodrvc, has a lot of potential uses. With its durable feeling vinyl and high flexibility with strength, this might be the one for the job. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – The outside coating as well as the rope overall has a good quality feel and appearance. The included cutters are pretty good for included tools. I’d guess this rope should be able to handle the element for a good amount of time, but only time will tell. II. Usability – This rope is very thin, but strong for the thickness, because of the steel inside. It’s hard to believe that there are 7 strands of 7 wires for a total of 49 wires all in the middle (see my included photos), considering the thickness, but I haven’t taken it apart to check. It provides a very flexible rope that springs back to the straight position when released. Overall, this is a very usable rope that will fit the bill for many of my projects in the future and has left me satisfied with my choice, despite it being thinner than I thought. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Lots of things to use this material for. I used it to make an extension for high tensile electric fence in an area I didn't want to be zapping things. I then connected it at the other end to more electric fence and it works to continue the circuit.

Sooo many uses! I do all kinds of outdoor projects and I like that this wire is coated in plastic to make it weatherproof. It is winter right now but in spring here are some ideas I have for using it: 1) Use it to make a trellis for my squash plants. I am going to attempt to have them grow vertically this year because they take up so much space growing horizontally. I am thinking this wire should be strong enough to support the weight of squash. Not sure how I will put it all together but it will probably involve lumber, inexpensive 10-foot electric pipes into which I will drill holes for this wire. 2) Hang up my shade sail. I have a new shade sail to put up over my patio. This plastic wire will be waterproof where-as plain uncovered wire would not. 3) Hang wire over patio to hang up some lantern lights ! Really looking forward to this one, I think it will look very cool . . . I also may hang up a humming bird feeder from the wire. 4) Experiment with replacing one of the ropes on my clothesline with this wire. The rope is a constant problem because it is always sagging and I am always having to monkey with it to tighten it. I am hoping this wire will stay taut. 5) Hang birdfeeders from tree branches. 6) Anything else outdoors where I might have used wire or rope before. This may be better because it is weatherproof and does not have stretch like rope.

This wire is the perfect size for just about anything. It's small enough diameter to be able to bend, twist, and tie off yet large enough to hold its strength. I have used this to hand things in the garage, as well as repairing chain link fence and chicken coops. The cutters this includes are AMAZING. They cut like butter and leave a very clean cut. These cutters do just as good as the name brand, but at half the cost.

Great wire for the suggested purposes! It would also make a great laundry line!! It is stainless. It is per the specifications. And yet my first thought was 'smaller than I thought it would be'. The product picture shows the spool with the cutters. And the spool there is as tall as the cutters. In reality the spool is a lot smaller. BTW The cutters are actually not bad! But minus one star because of the size deception. I think the picture has the 900 ft spool with a 300 ft label?

I received this item through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review. I ordered this because the corners of my property are marked, but the property line is not clear. It runs from one corner down to a creek and back up to a fence line. I strung this wire line the 290+ feet between the surveyor's markers. Since the property goes down and then up, I had to pull the line tight. The wire was strong enough to be pulled quite taut and form a straight line, I could then use pegs to mark the boundary at 10 ft intervals. I finished this just before dark on a rainy day. I didn't need to worry about leaving the wire out in the rain. Between the vinyl coating, and the wire being stainless steel, I don't need to worry about corrosion. I plan on using this wire to mark another boundary where I plan to put up a fence. This will insure that I keep a straight line. After that, I can think of multiple ways to use this wire over and over. I haven't needed the cutters supplied yet, but they are a great addition to my work bench. Helpful tip: drill four small holes at the top of the spindle. After rewinding, you can feed the end of the wire up through a hole and prevent the wire from uncoiling.
