This product is made of thick, rigid plastic. Our inspection did not identify any manufacturer defect with our test product, nor did we find any notable design flaw. We noted that all components are put together seamlessly, with no indication of flimsiness. We assess that this product will last 3+ years with proper care. - Price: At the time of writing, this product is priced comparably to similar products on the market. The deck tile niche is highly saturated, and we observed comparable products generally coming in at both lower and higher price points. However, this product differentiates itself with high-quality plastic material, a substantial package of 30 pieces, and a refined aesthetic. For these reasons, we consider this a good deal. - Function: Our assessment is that the product works well for its purpose. I plan to use these deck tiles in my garden. They seem to be well made and I expect them to last a long time.

    • Handy, temporary or outdoor flooring
These could be used in lots of ways that I can think of already, and I'm sure there's plenty I haven't. For now, I'm hoping they will work well as flooring in a small wood & plastic greenhouse, perhaps a small improvised 'deck' atop some salvaged pallets by my fire pit. They snap together fairly easily, and happily they seem to also come back apart easily enough with a little effort. I haven't tried to cut off any of the connection tabs for clean edges, and unsure I will until I'm certain how I like them. I may also use them in-between garden rows in the spring.     • Easy to assemble.
We have an area on the patio that collects water and becomes slippery when it rains. These tiles were perfect for making a "raised deck" to fit the area. The color is beautiful and they seem durable.
