We bought this to surround newly planted sycamore trees along the lake shore in the woods - a deer sanctuary. The fencing is thick metal, well covered with the coating. It is easy to cut and work with in the field. From the lake (maybe 30'-50'), the fencing is not noticeable, unless you look really hard. We received the planted trees along with plastic animal tree protection guards to go around the tree. Unfortunately that assumes maybe 5"-8" of space round the tree for the height of the guards. In our case, the trees came with branches all the way up, so need more space around the trunk. In addition, the guards don't seem to allow the sun to get in well and allow new branches to grow. Using this fencing worked well for the tree, leaves and for watering.

The wire inside the coating is very, very thin. The 19 guage is the finished product including the coating. This is definitely NOT suitable for the bottom wire on cages. It works well on the sides as long as you dont have a lot of predators. It is very flexible and easy to work with, just not as sturdy as an actual 19 giage wire .

Very well packaged. Great quality. Easy to cut and work with. Size met my needs. Variety of sizes to choose from. Coating was very consistent. We are using it under bark to keep our dogs from digging. It looks very durable and should hold up well. Was a good value for the coverage we needed.
