Put this on an elevated shed. Made sure it was black because it is behind some lattice. The dark helps it go ‘invisible’ as it looks like a shadow and is not seen. Shed isn’t painted yet, but I am looking at this critter block and can’t even see it. Check it out! Bought it a little taller than needed and folded it at the bottoms to extend coverage out to prevent those critters that wanna dig in. 5 stars so far.

New puppy. Eroded fence line. Enter hardware cloth! Regardless of the name, this is not cloth. It is wire with vinyl over the top. Its edges are quite sharp and you have to really be careful when handling it. When you first take the metal ties off that are holding the roll together, be careful because it sort of springs open and you can get cut. (Ask me how I know that!) The hardware cloth itself is very malleable into whatever position and wherever you need (around a fence pole as an example.) Honestly, I spent a lot of time using my feet and pushing the material up against the chain-link in order to secure it firmly. You will need lots of 11 or 12 inch zip ties and a big box of ground staples. I purchased six rolls of the hardware cloth to complete my project. The rolls I purchased were 50 feet long so just do the math after you’ve measured your fence to buy enough materials for your own project. I incorporated my family to help. It was a lot of work but it’s done! You can hardly see the hardware cloth up against my chain-link. I thought it would be a lot more noticeable. I have peace of mind now that my puppy will stay in my yard and the rabbits will stay out! This is a win!

This fencing is quite flexible and easily attached to a wooden framework to keep rabbits and our dog out of our garden. It is probably too flimsy to stand alone stretched between posts.

I purchased this after visiting my local TS store, primarily because I preferred the 1” square pattern over the 1”x2”. They were priced similarly and both claimed to be 16 gauge, I haven’t verified the actual gauge with a caliper, but can say without question… The TS product is much thicker/stronger. The material is sufficient for my purpose (even with several broken wires/welds).

This product is terrible quality. I bought it in 2023 to finish a run for my chickens because the big box retailer was out of stock. The wire rusted out and basically crumbles when touched. It cannot be made from galvanized steel as advertised. I used it for the top of the run, so there was no ground contact. I am in zone 7 and we’ve had mild winters. I expected it to be poor quality because it is Amazon, but thought it would last longer than 2 years. Now I have to buy more wire fence and spend a weekend repairing the run. Do not buy this item.
