We purchased the 7.5 ft version to be used outdoors. Yes it is also beautiful inside as well. I assembled it inside to verify its operation and then will move it outside. It assembled very well and the instructions were well described. The base is large (great for outside to prevent blowing over) and very well designed for strength. The colors are very illuminating and can be dimmed up or down as your preference. The topper follows along with the mode setting and also is extremely nice (and beautiful as well). The remote needs a battery per specifications and comes with the unit. It can also be controlled with your cell phone. If music is available, it supports this as well. Have not tested it but I am sure it works as well as the rest of the tree functions. I highly recommend this for your home or yard. The price is very good as well. Enjoy.

This tree is very easy to assemble with no tools required. The light strands are also easy to attach to the base as they come attached to the star. My husband did break this tree after 20 minutes of beautiful enjoyment. He was tasked with moving the tree 5 feet away from the point of assembly to a traditional living room corner area and while picking it up he smashed it into the ceiling, got it caught in the ceiling fan and tripped into the corner with it. The tree held up just fine though all this and even the light strands were perfect. The tree no longer lights up after that situation but we ordered a replacement part and I am confident we will enjoy this tree again very soon. 5 freaking stars.

The design is not great. During assembly, the metal bars fit but are not flush. It is hard to figure out how each line of lights attaches to the base spring. I do like the options of colors but not that the black power line is so obvious. I hope at the end of the season when I pack this tree up I can get it to work again during a future holiday. I think if the company remedied the aforementioned and added a few more rows of lights this product would be better.

I thought this was pretty easy to set up, after I figured out how to out the base together. The light strands come with clips and springs so they are all tight and remain that way. I found the light options a little underwhelming, there is a white or color option, some blinking etc. nothing over the top special but it will be nice for outdoor Christmas decor. Hopefully it lasts more than one season! I don’t really think it’s worth the current price of almost 50, but that’s just me.

My cats have an unending fascination with Christmas trees and I'm quite over fishing cats out from between the branches. I got this cone tree because it has no branches! This cone tree has a base consisting of 5 plastic legs connected into a circle with additional pieces. The center post is metal. There are 4 strands of lights per circular segment, except for one segment which has 3 light segments and the power cord. Connecting the lights to the circular base is the most time consuming part of the assembly process. I had to keep looking up to make sure I had the correct light strand and it wasn't crossed/tangled with other strands. The Christmas Tree comes with a remote control that has many buttons. This essentially controls the tree without the need for an app. However, you can download an app for the tree. I downloaded the app so that I could test it for the review. I am glad that the app had the option to use the app WITHOUT making an account. It connects to the tree with a proximity Bluetooth connection. App works well. After some exploration of the app, I was able to make a "custom" light pattern (a slow transition from white to colored and back), and set a schedule for lights to turn on & off. It comes with stakes to secure it outside in your lawn.
