So, my old in counter cook top blew out the magic smoke, and I was faced with updating my cooktop. The closest brick and mortar store had them starting at about $1200 all the way up to $14,000, which was far beyond our budget. I found this for $219, and had it delivered. Installation was a breeze. I needed to cut the opening a few fractions of an inch, which was fine, because the 1983 construction crew appear to have been working before straight lines were invented. Took more time to clean the old grease from under the lip of the cooktop being removed that to install the new cooktop. I killed the breaker, wire nutted the correct leads, screwed 4 tension brackets onto the new cooktop (included) and careful applied the supplied edge sealant tape, and dropped it into the carefully cut and measured opening. The grip sealant prevented and meaningful movement of the cook top, and as well as the tension mounts. I flipped the breaker(30A 220/240v), went inside, powered on the cooktop and unlocked it. Takes about 5 seconds for the unlock to happen. Turned on all five burners to full blast. They all heated up immediately, much faster than my old cooktop. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. There is an H indicator for as long as the temperature of any burner is above room temperature. Cooking with the new cooktop has required some adjustment to use much lower settings than I was previously accustomed to, but overall very h fallout with this purchase. ... show more

Great stove top. It's a little slower heating up than my old GE but it gets the job done and seems to work well. Doesn't have all the automatic features and sensors of my old stove top. For instance, does not sense whether a pan is on the burner or not. Was easy to install in place of my old one. Just be sure to measure your opening before ordering. ... show more

So far I like it. Only used it couple times. You do have to hold the unlock button “for a while” but once you figure out the controls it’s easy to use. I do think the burners are a bit close together so the pots you use matter. But overall I’m pleased with it so far

This cooktop cooks evenly and is so modern looking! I like that it has a lock to keep buttons from getting turned on. I also really like that it is a timer on the burners. Great product for the price!!

We used this to replace a broken stovetop. It was pretty easy to install. We have been using it for several months now and have had no issues. My wife has a bit of a hard time with the touch controls, but they work well for me. Overall, I would recommend this stovetop.

Don’t buy unless you want to throw money away. The glass is thin and it cracked after 6 months bought protection plan through Asurion for them to tell me the cracks are not covered when it says it does. Rip off then not able to talk to Amazon about because there is no support for this product. Amazon don’t sell items on your site that you don’t back up. This makes me want to go back and shop the old fashion way. ... show more
