The media could not be loaded. After moving into a family home and having to remodel this eas probably the hardest piece to replace. I didnt have thousands to spend so thankfully I found this one! Its work great. I did have to open up my counter a tad more because the other piece was slightly smaller but I am well pleased. Easy process with a hired handyman who knew what to do!! Great value. Came with everything needed to install. Box wasnt extremely heavy. Delivered right to my door. It does heat quick with appropriate pot. Easy to clean! The video shows it on safety lock because I do have small grandkids.

So, my old in counter cook top blew out the magic smoke, and I was faced with updating my cooktop. The closest brick and mortar store had them starting at about $1200 all the way up to $14,000, which was far beyond our budget. I found this for $219, and had it delivered. Installation was a breeze. I needed to cut the opening a few fractions of an inch, which was fine, because the 1983 construction crew appear to have been working before straight lines were invented. Took more time to clean the old grease from under the lip of the cooktop being removed that to install the new cooktop. I killed the breaker, wire nutted the correct leads, screwed 4 tension brackets onto the new cooktop (included) and careful applied the supplied edge sealant tape, and dropped it into the carefully cut and measured opening. The grip sealant prevented and meaningful movement of the cook top, and as well as the tension mounts. I flipped the breaker(30A 220/240v), went inside, powered on the cooktop and unlocked it. Takes about 5 seconds for the unlock to happen. Turned on all five burners to full blast. They all heated up immediately, much faster than my old cooktop. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. There is an H indicator for as long as the temperature of any burner is above room temperature. Cooking with the new cooktop has required some adjustment to use much lower settings than I was previously accustomed to, but overall very h fallout with this purchase.

So far I like it. Only used it couple times. You do have to hold the unlock button “for a while” but once you figure out the controls it’s easy to use. I do think the burners are a bit close together so the pots you use matter. But overall I’m pleased with it so far

Easy to install. Heating is different from my old glass top stove, initialy it’s seconds slower to heat up, but then it’s good. Instructions on how to turn the stove on is a little trcky and can be exasperating until you get the hang of it, then its ok. Easy to clean. Content with my new stove.

Husband installed pretty quick. Works great and it looks nice. Best deal I found on Amazon for 5 burners. I like the lock feature. I like the dual burner in the front left. It can be small or large. Has scratched though but for the price it can be replaced in 10 yrs or whenever it gets ugly or broken.
