This control is apparently made for a trailer that does not require power down. Only the solenoid wire is powered in down. We used this for a hydraulicly controlled hay trailer so we added a wire from the down solenoid to the starter motor solenoid so it would power back. Otherwise the control seems fine. ... show more

So far this item has worked well. Easy to wire up. I like the built in magnets made into the back side of switch. Also the long cord. I can stand at the back of my dump trailer while dumping the load. Well worth the money.

Product functions well and seems to be well constructed. The only reason I gave it only three stars is that it is described as waterproof. There are 2 vent holes in the casing that could allow moisture in. I used caulk on these holes since I am not worried about overheating due to infrequent use.
