Was wary at first due to some bad reviews but decided to gamble as it's a good looking piece of furniture and you can't beat the price. Happy I did as it turned out really nice (see pic) and perfect for what I needed (wifi, switch, move controllers and speaker). One issue I did have were the pre existing screw holes on the side of the drawers that didn't line up correctly so I was forced to use 3 instead of the 4 screws. While it bothered me at first I eventually got over it as it's hidden at the back of the drawer thus me giving 4 instead of 5 stars. Tips: Don't over tighten the screws especially with powertools, I can see the wood splitting if over zealous. Don't tighten screws all the way until major parts are semi-put together and fit correctly. Make sure the screws are tight next to drawer or it won't fit correctly and will fall out. Make sure you use the correct bottoms in the correct locations or things will be off. ... show more

Arrived well packaged with no damage to parts. All parts present. There was a slight smell that disappated quickly. Instructions were clear. It is light fiber board so I was careful not to bear down hard tightening screws. I did use a good wood glue in all the joints and screw holes for added stability and hopefully longevity. I used some drawer slide lubricant on the drawer and it moves well. The little "gallery" around the bottom 2 shelves is a cute addition. Makes it a bit of a cottage type look in my opinion. The unit comes as flat pieces that have to be assembled. I used a Milwaukee 2505-22 M12 Fuel Installation Drill/Driver https://www.amazon.com/Milwaukee-2505-22-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Installation/dp/B07YKW2Z6K. A hex (allen) bit is required for the large screws, and a phillips bit for the small screws -- the tools that come with the unit would take a very long time and fatigue to assemble the unit. The Milwaukee 2505 has a torque limiting clutch as a screwdriver so that I would not over tighten the screws. One of the screw holes was not deep enough; I had to drill that one deeper. Despite carefully aligning and tightening the screws, two of the cross member pieces cracked along the screw axis. The drawer bottom and possibly the shelves do not seem to be made of wood/bamboo, but fiber-board covered with a veneer and are relatively flimsy, secured into a not very deep kerf. I probably will use a structural wood glue to help secure these. The shelves should have some reinforcement (crossbars) underneath. All the pieces were present, instructions that are clear for an experienced person, and extra screws. The finish on one part was marred. Overall, typical PRC quality, but not at an outrageous price. I hope that the finish, veneers, laminates, etc., does not emit toxins (e.g., formaldehyde). On this sample, all of the holes lined-up and the parts did fit together. ... show more

So where should I begin the wood is poorly finished and I got three splinters during the project. This is a problem the manufacturer is fully aware of because they tell you to assemble it with work gloves on. By the time I put the last screw in the base it was evident that the bottom was crooked and the table wobbled. Naturally I assumed I missed the center of the screw hole so I backed it out and took a look and no I hit it dead center with respect to the other hole in the base. The wood also split in two places while I was trying to put the final touches on the base. This should be an easy project but it really isn't ready for prime time even if you are careful. The project also nearly stripped my drill bit by the time it was finally over. It also scratched the top of my coffee table which was actually a good purchase. The final project looks like a cub scout did it as a "daddy teaching me to use the drill" project. Worst part is I brought two of these so now I have the pleasure of assembling the next piece of crap for my bed room to use for the next few weeks till I find another. In the end I got this because I spent a lot of money to furnish an apartment and I wanted to save about a hundred bucks on buying somthing of high quality and instead I wasted 80. ... show more

Got this as a small by-the-bed table to put coffee cup in the morning while we're watching news. It's on the low side but it's perfect if you don't have space for a big clunky night stand. And they're easy to move for vacuuming. Assembly was relatively easy although I used my little electric screw driver instead of the manual Phillips and allen wrenches that came with the bundle, so the assembly went a lot faster. The package also comes with a nice bamboo bookmark. We got two--one for each side of the bed. They are attractive and look a lot more expensive than they are. We love them! ... show more

This was smaller than I liked and the fence around the shelf is higher too. It does look really nice though. Mostly easy to assemble. Some screws were a little tougher than others. I feel this would be good for kids maybe or to hold stuff for them you use, like wipes, pacifiers, etc.
