The hairs on the hat are pipe cleaners that are only attached by one thread. They came off just trying the hat on, so I had to sew them back on. Other that that, it was a cute set for the price.

Whenever I go camping, I find that I need a flashlight at least 20 times per evening. It has been a huge distraction for me to always try to remember where I left it, taking away from the camping experience by struggling to remember and search for my flashlight. But no longer. With this new beanie, I always have my flashlight with me. It serves a dual purpose of also keeping me warm when needed in the evenings, but even if it’s warm out, this does not make it any hotter. An additional bonus is it also creates a barrier to help keep mosquitoes off my neck and ears. I recommend you buy one of these and always keep it in your vehicle so that you know you have it and you know where it is not only when camping, but also as a flashlight anytime you need it, such as if you have to change a tire at night time, or just need to search around your vehicle for an item. Since it’s universal, it has unlimited uses, and you should not be without one. I recommend you buy a couple to help improve the quality of your life.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this lighted beanie to wear in fall & winter when I walk my dogs during dark evening hours. It has 3 settings. The first 2 are simply steady white light and honestly, I cant tell much difference between the 2 . The 2nd one might be a bit brighter. The 3rd setting is flashing lights. Like an alternating red & blue flashing . Not sure when I would use that setting . Not sure how warm the beanie will be since its in the 90s now so hard to tell. The light fixture is removable so you can charge it after the power runs out. Honestly, I cant quite figure out how to recharge it and the instructions aren't helpful to me. (Im not a techy person at all!). So its working fine now but need to learn how to recharge soon! The entire beanie plus little light fixture is super light. You cannot even tell its something other than a knit cap. I will probably wear it backwards when I walk since I'm more concerned about cars not seeing me from behind.

This is by far the nicest headlamp beanie I've seen. In contrast to some of the others, the cuff on this one (where the light is) is actually sewn to the hat in the center, so the weight of the light (which isn't a lot, but is enough to pull the cuff down if not sewn) doesn't pull the cuff down and allow the light to just flop over. The beanie itself is great quality and is pretty stretchy, so if you have a big noggin, there's a pretty good chance it will fit. The light is easily removable for recharging and is plenty bright. The USB-A connector has a rubber cap over it to protect it. There are three settings: normal, high, and blue/red flashing. I got this for myself initially but ended up giving it to my brother for a few reasons, among which are that he has a hard time finding beanies that are big enough, and it will come in handy for him at work in winter. I'll buy another one for myself.
