Exactly what we needed. Immediately stopped the issue with the car seat straps leaving marks (friction burns, and bruises) on my baby. He immediately stopped crying about being strapped in. He still doesn't like being confined and will fuss, as babies do, but he isnt screaming tears getting injured from the straps anymore and the difference is huge. They are reversible so there's a super soft side and a more breathable side. The shoulder strap ones are just exact copies of each other I stead of being a right and left one, so the Velcro seems backwards on the one side (unless it's fabric is printed upside down?) but that doesn't effect its use negatively. The bottom piece will almost always come out when lifting baby from the car seat, as his legs kinda keep ahold of it, but that's a minor inconvenience and much better than the purple bruises he was getting from the buckle up against his thighs. I'm sure these won't be as necessary when baby is a little bigger, but right now he is about 7 pounds at a month old and the straps had to be on the tightest setting for him as a newborn a month ago. Very easy to put on and take off. Easy to wash. I recommend washing before use due to a heavy plastic smell. I washed in a machine on gentile cold and dried low heat. They came out perfect. They fit snug and secure. The piece for the leg buckle is a little harder to position correctly and needs a bit of tugging sometimes to make sure it covers the buckle all the way after clipping in, because the pad just sits there, but it works and doesn't get in the way of tightening the straps down properly. I will add though that based on the smell and the softness, these are probably flammable as hell, so keep that in mind if you're worried about things like that. For me the risks of using a secondary item to modify the car seat like this is worth my baby not having friction burns from the car seat straps. This probably only deserves four stars really, but I was just so distraught over the almost bloody marks and the bruises left by the car seat the first time bringing my newborn home, and the way he screamed and cried real tears the entire way. This fixed that problem. He still doesn't love being in the car seat but he isnt being hurt and doesn't scream or cry. That's worth five stars to me. Plus the dinosaurs are cute as heck and very vibrantly colored and soft.

Misplaced my original strap covers, they were small and the kids ripped them off all the time. So far the novelty of these alone and the "dinos keeping me safe" has kept them in place! They're super soft, well made, much larger than the original pads and I love that they're thick and reversible.

Good quality and soft material but these are HUGE! Definitely not for an infant. The description of this product needs to be changed. These are more for a toddler or child and will not fit in an infant seat
