These are very tight and right. Good electrical current. No sagging. Only caution I have is when attaching the handles to the springs, it seems you have to run it through the ring a specific way, or it does not go onto the ring correctly. Had to put it on and take it off again on one, because the second one went on correctly and then I realized the first one was not. Sorry, no pictures of what I experienced...I didn't think to take pictures at the time.

Product Reviewed: 5 Pack Electric Fence Insulated Plastic gate Handle with Internal Spring and Double Ring end, Blue – for $15 minus 10% coupon. TL;DR; Inexpensive knock off of high end spring handle; Cheaper feeling plastic but overall good construction; Plastic durability TBD We have a homestead scale farm operation and use electric fence extensively. These are a knockoff of the high end black gate handles. The plastic is a bit cheap, however, I tested the strength of the spring and hook with a bit of force and it seems strong. Good magnetics on both the hook and spring. I like how big the hook is, it will work with all types of gate hardware (onetime the flat Steele type like the ones I have will not fit). My only reservation would be whether the plastic holds up in the sun - but maybe that doesn’t matter - mine break before that happens anyway. They are 9.5” long and the hook looks to be 3/16” thick. An economical choice and good to very good value. 5 Stars. How I review: Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points. - 0 for value but I try to provide guidance -0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel -0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on execution I select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. Most of my reviews come out 4-5 range. If possible I dismantle or destroy items to examine inner workings.

I got these to use on an electric fence around a suburban garden. The fence posts are lightly built plastic and flexible metal. These handles are sturdy and well made, but the springs are so stiff that stretching one would pull down my whole installation. These would be great for a fence made with heavy wooden posts and wire, but I made need to look into something less heavy duty.

The media could not be loaded. I didn’t think these would be as heavy duty as they are. They have great tension. I didn’t use them in the fence yet but I stretched them with a cable in my tractor and they’re great!

These handles are impressive. The metal parts are strong, sturdy, and should last a long time. The plastic part feels a bit thin but if it's truly UV-resistant, that shouldn't be a problem. My only "complaint" is that these aren't available in the color green, so that they would blend in to their surroundings on my property. Oh, well. The bottom line is that these are high-quality electric fence handles at a good price. Nice.

These electric fence handles are seriously sturdy. Great for connecting bridging wires underneath farm gates. Also convenient for nonelectric use like stretching of bungee cord between a few posts to service a reminder to a trained dog that we really do not want anyone wandering off of the garden to dig. A real nice addition to our fencing supplies kit that will likely also be just the right thing for a variety of other connection uses. We’re totally impressed with how sturdy they are.

I like these alot! My local farm supply stores only sell a brand that is slim and feel kind of cheap in the hand. These are not that! They are a larger diameter handle and the spring inside of it is stiff and large gauge. That is i expect it to work great for years to come.
