Why isn’t the wire feeding or the arc igniting in MIG mode? 1、MIG welding operates on a “trigger-held” principle. Make sure to keep the trigger pressed throughout the welding process. 2、Welding spatter can sometimes clog the small holes in the contact tip, preventing the wire from feeding. Why isn’t the wire feeding or the arc igniting in STICK mode? It may be due to the acidity and alkalinity of the welding rods. You can try to exchange connections, avoid the wrong terminal connect. Also check your rods head, confirm the flux not cover iron tip. Why did the welder suddenly stop working? A：The welder may have shut down due to overheating, triggering the safety shut-off feature. We recommend waiting 3–5 minutes to allow the welder to cool down before turning it back on. Is it easy for beginners to use? Optimized for beginners! Simply power on and focus on controlling the welding gun angle, making it much easier to learn.

Great Little Welder! I’ve only used the Mig part so far and I’m loving it! It’s super lightweight and easy to just take it to the job instead of bringing the job to the machine. Grounding cable I feel is inadequate because it’s showing extreme heat damage around the clamp. Other than that it’s a great machine welder. Okay first up just to let you know up front I am not a welder I have zero experience in welding but I told myself I want to learn how to weld just because every now and then I'm always need something new welder fix or help a friend with or something like that so I would say I would put that on my list or something I need to learn but I have a friend that welds and he taught me how to weld on this machine like like I said I'm not a welder but I'm learning and it's a great little machine to learn on and for a cheap price when I paid for it it gets the job done if you do it right and it's not that bad but for someone that's trying to learn you can't go bad with the price you have to experiment with it then you get better and then after that you always can step up to a better machine but for learning on something and getting started this is item that would be great to start out with to practice on and learn and become a better welder so I think I'm doing great I've learned a lot I think it's a little great welder for the price comes everything you need to get you started all you have to do is plug it up and have at it ... show more

Typical of what a cheap welder is. I almost started laughing when I received this welder. It actually is smaller than a bread box. Does not feel like a quality product as the actual metal housing is about 1/16 plate. Set up for wire feed was easy. I did have to refer to the manual as the cable routing is counter-intuitive as the "Earth" lead goes to the positive (+) terminal (like an older automobile with a positive ground system). I did manage to weld some 1/16 inch plate with it using the included flux-core wire. it was able to make a bead, but not a consistent one. After about 10 minutes of use, the spring clamp on the "earth" lead began to bend and would soon break like a soda can tab if you're not careful. I tried using the included auto-tinting goggles, they have no advance/delay function, so they have about a two second delay to darken when welding. Thankfully, I will only use this welder occasionally as I think I would easily disintegrate if used regularly. But, for its size, it is able to do some welding.... ... show more

Same issues as the 53 second video. Wire would feed on MMA but not arc, arc on flux but not feed, returned due to that. While prepping for return the stick holder fell off, no pressure, probably easy to fix. Labeling issue with tape on return so when it hits the bin store they know of the issue.
