This toy is multipurpose and highly versatile. Allow me to paint the picture for you. You receive not 1, not 2, but 3 octopus/squid toys in this package. At less than $5/toy this is an excellent deal. Other sellers have the exact set for $19 vs $13 here. My dog typically destroys all toys (even if marketed as “durable” and for “tough chewers”) in 5-10minutes. Each of these squids lasts 2-3 weeks, and more if you don’t throw away the legs/tentacles. Our dog will remove the squeaker in no time, but then she thoroughly enjoys cutting into each of the tentacles to remove the crinkle-material. Each leg can also be removed. Each leg now becomes its own toy. So each squid becomes 9 toys. So your three toys now becomes 27. Your home is now overflowing with dog toys and your dog has enough toys to hide in every room in the house. Your dogs joy will be off the charts, and your heart will be filled with warmth as you watch your dog viciously attack this menacing creature. Bonus feature: your squid has the potential to be both the worst enemy and best friend of your dog. It is both a formidable foe and suitable companion. You have now given your dog new purpose. Financial savings. Assuming this toy lasts 2 weeks, as $5 per squid, you are spending 2.5$ per week of enjoyment, or approximately $100 per year for year-round entertainment. In contrast, a $10 toy may last you 1 day, and thus you would spend $3650 on useless “durable” dog toys. That is $3500 in savings. My dog absolutely loves these octopuses. He killed the squeaky part almost immediately but I expected he would. The crinkle parts in the legs are going strong and the fabric has held up to hours of him tugging on the legs.
