But they tune and intone well and give me that brassy sound I need. A friend and I built twin partscaster thinlines. He went big with a fancy $100+ boutique bridge, I went with the standard Fender bridge and these saddles. And we both agree the difference is negligible. For being of the highest standard, they are an incredible value. A great replacement or upgrade to any guitar.

They are working for me but still to be expected the intonation thing can come down to just going for a happy medium. Excellent product. The brass nut, paired up with this new brass bridge setup, is for my search for guitar tone combinations. I get a lot better sounding tele style guitar.

I bought a Squire Paranormal Nashville Strat. Yep its a real thing and pretty awesome. I just bought brass saddles to make it look more vintage and for the tone and it does make it a little barely their different than the chrome saddles but they look great and I like them. Check out Tonerider pickups I have 400 in a guitar that sounds like a thousand dollar guitar.

Bought these to help intonate an old tele that had the traditional brass saddles. The guitar is now intonated properly and I noticed no change in my tone which was what I was after.

I bought a cheap telecaster kit to build my own guitar (because 12 is not enough) but some of the included hardware components were not great quality. This Wilkinson brass bridge represents a great upgrade both in performance and looks giving much more accurate intonation than the previous hardware. This is my second Wilkinson Tele bridge and has shorter screws than the previous; not an issue in this application but surprised by this and might be an issue for some.

Probably not real brass, but they work. The threads will not work with original bolts (I tried on three different sets of original barrel saddles). The sound isn't bad, just a bit choked, as if the vibration isn't coming all the way through it. This is great if you are doing funk or other music styles that sound better with less sustain, IMO. Instead of using them on a tele, I used them on a MIM Duo Sonic, and they rock on that guitar. YMMV.
