You get what you pay for...granddaughter wanted these because of the colors and the fact she would get three, one for school and two to keep home. But...they are very cheaply made, do not come apart for cleaning, and the sound is not good.

We wanted a smaller recorder and we figured this set would let us have some for others to learn with. However, they sound so bad compared our wooden one and that they went into the toy box. I would try different ones if I were you.
