I have a twin sized guest bed that has a very firm mattress on it so I thought this might add a little bit of softness to the firm bed. It comes vacuum sealed and rolled up in the box with instructions and a little letter opener to cut through the plastic bags and sealing. The directions say to let it sit for 48 hours to let it de-gas and puff out but my mattress topper did not have any smell to it and it fluffed up within a few hours so I put it on the bed. I really like the adjustable buckles and straps on the corners so that this pad will stay on the bed and not move around. It added about 2 inches to the size of the mattress but my sheets still covered it all with plenty of room. The cover to the foam inside is very soft and has a zipper to take it off and wash it if it get dirty. I added an additional protective mattress cover to it and it fit fine. I laid on the bed and it felt a little bit softer but I know this mattress topper will extend the life of my mattress in the long run. I am very pleased with it and I'd like to get one for my king sized bed.

Who can afford new mattresses in this economy? Not us, that's for sure. Enter the Czpalo 2 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper Queen, Cooling Mattress Topper. I wasn't sure how this would work out. I wanted to place a memory foam topper on a memory foam bed... the bed is a very firm memory foam, and I wanted a bit softer, but still supportive. It is perfect. Although the included information materials say the topper could take a couple days to fully inflate and for any odor to dissipate, mine arrived with practically no scent, and seemed fully shaped within just a few hours, less than a full day. The non-slip bottom surface, in combination with the corner straps, is keeping the topper from sliding even a little bit so far. (Note: this one is on a bed without an adjustable frame. I think if it were for my main bed, which does have an adjustable frame, it would likely have to be readjusted each time we flattened the bed... but I'm just guessing there.) The cover, which is washable--yay!, is softer and more comfortable than I'd thought it would be. Next bed linens change, I may even leave off the mattress cover, because the topper's cover feels the same. At the current price of less than $120, this is an excellent way to extend the life of your mattress.

I waited the full 3 days before I put it on my bed. This mattress comes in a compression package. There are very clear instructions, and included is a special tool to open the plastic bags. The tool is like a plastic letter opener and the allows you to cut open the plastic covers without damaging the product. There is the plastic cover that holds the rolled up mattress, and then there is the plastic bag that covers the mattress itself. After opening the packaging, it is recommend to let the mattress sit for 24-48 hours so it expands to its proper size. The instructions cautions that any smell will disperse, but I didn’t experience any overwhelming smell on opening the package. I let the mattress sit for 48 hours, but I think it was ready to use in less time. So I put this on my mattress and you can see the difference. The bed sits 2 inches higher! You can feel the difference. Laying on it feels great. It is very comfortable. I am not a sound sleeper as I will wake up several times throughout the night. My first night sleeping I was very impressed. I only woke up once, and my sleep was great. Of course only time will tell if this is will happen consistently, but right now I am very happy with the experience. The mattress is as described in the pictures. Two inches of memory foam with a removable cover. The straps adjusted easily to my mattress. I have a “twin” size mattress, and was not interested in replacing it, so this topper seemed to me to be a good alternative. So, if you don’t want to the expense of a entirely new mattress, and just want to upgrade your current situation, this might be your solution. I am glad I did, and I recommend this product.
