Audio quality sucks. Sounds like you're in a box. You would be better off just buying a higher quality lav from a name brand which is what I'm going to do. Functionality wise it does exactly as advertised: I was able to use it with my iPhone and my mirrorless camera. The product gives the illusion of quality by being marked $100 but for sale at $30, but the real the price is actually $30.

Note: If you have a Google phone, this mic does NOT work with the default Google Camera app, which doesn’t support external mics for video on any Pixel model. Not a mic issue—just a limitation of the stock camera app. I found this out later with troubleshooting help from ChatGPT, and then discovered that it actually does work with my Google Pixel 7 Pro in third-party video apps like Open Camera and CapCut. Reduced star for not disclosing incompatibility in listing or customer service knowing to troubleshoot for the issue. This was horribly time consuming and frustrating for a supposed plug and play mic. However, Customer Service was very kind and responsive!

This works really well! The MENERESAS 3 in 1 Mini Microphone I love the sound quality when I use it in videos and also when I do live broadcasts it is really useful for me. If you are using the lightning or USB-C adapters it works great. I struggled to ger the old school audio jack to work and unfortunately that was the reason I purchased this. I ended up returning it because I had no use for it but the quality is good. Would be great to use with a phone! Easy to connect and good sound quality.
