Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted a product that was easy to understand, and affordable. I love the digital screen on the device and it was plus and play. I recently moved into a house with a gas stove and feel uneasy about it due to gas leaks being a possibility. Battery life: This device is plugged into a direct outlet so the battery life has not been an issue. Safety: I interface is very easy to read, when there is a concern an alarm will sound. We tested it initially to hear the alarm and it was sufficient for us to hear from another room. However, if you are within a two story home, it might be fainter to hear. Works well: I have had no issues with the product. Ease of use: Plug and play easy! I read the little booklet that came with it and the interface is simple enough to understand without the booklet.

They are easy to install and use, I like that I can give one to my son to have also and the pice of mind. I just need to test the CO somehow to be sure I can trust it to save a life. If the CO detection works it’s perfect. I have had mine plugged in for several months and it still works. Only possible complaint is that it is light up 24/7 and maybe a power save and less light emitting option would be for the screen to shut off? It is in a master bath and does give off some light in the dark room at night.

The media could not be loaded. We ordered these to update our CO detectors throughout the house. The old ones we had were hard to tell if they were even working. We love these new CO detectors. They are super easy to use and understand. You just plug them in and it is working. It will talk to you which is a nice feature. When you first plug it in, the system will start counting back down to 0 - I believe to show it is working properly and ready for monitoring. We love that it has a digital display that always shows so it is easy to read and see what current levels are at all times vs only knowing if they are high enough to set off an alarm. These will also display the room temperature and I believe the room humidity which is a nice bonus feature. We opted to get these over some of the other CO detectors that offer an app that goes with it because the ones with the app only alerted you on your phone. We were concerned about not hearing the alarm/getting a notification if we had our phones off or anything. We like that these CO detectors have a loud in room alarm and alert so you can't miss it. Having one of these on each floor of our home now provides an added peace of mind!
