I’m so glad I had this in my cart prior to Prime to watch the price. I got it at a slight discount from the original list price and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had multiple floor lamps before this and they’ve not been this high quality. It occurred to me that a consistent issue with these types of floor lamps (in my experience) have screwed together terribly to make a leaning, crooked pole. I’m SO glad that Isn’t the case for this floor lamp. It went together effortlessly and stood upright how it should without a problem. I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy the glass globes seemed to be. I’d still take precaution when undoing them from the stand, but still very impressive the construction of this lamp. As for the light dispersement for the room vs the lamp: it is a fantastic lamp for a calming, low light vibe, probably not good for anyone seeking a lamp to brighten up a room. It probably would work well in a smaller space if you want it as a room “brightener”. I love it and it works for my needs. Also side note: the LEDs are included in the packaging and seem pretty specialized so chances are they won’t be a typical light bulb base type the general consumer would have on hand (for future change out). ... show more

Nice lamp, easy to assemble. Be careful when unpacking the box. The base of the lamp is extremely heavy and is on the outside of the styrofoam block. The other parts are sandwiched between the two taped pieces of styrofoam which are very tightly packed into the box. I sat the box on a bench in my garage and cut open the top. Seeing that the styrofoam was taped together I thought all the parts were in between those two pieces, I slowly lifted the foam block out of the cardboard box. The base of the lamp rolled out and smashed my toes, causing my soul to leave my body for a moment. I own several floor lamps and none of them have a base this heavy. I mean it’s very heavy even when it’s not smashing your piggies on the concrete floor of the garage. This was five days ago and I still have a purple foot. Photo included for your amusement. Great lamp, the base means it’s very stable, but whoever booby trapped the package deserves to be kicked in the family jewels. ... show more

looks great in the living room. it is a perfect amount of bright for my previously poorly lit living room. i love that the switch is a button on the floor, so easy. my house was built in the late 50s so i am trying to get it back to its original mid century modern design since it compliments it best and this fits into the aesthetic so well. definitely recommend. one thing to note is that there is only one brightness setting. that doesn't bother me but just something to keep in mind ... show more

I did love this design, I have a similar two globe design in my living room. I decided to grab this three globe version - it’s hard to photograph but there was a circle of discoloration on one orb. Like a water ring. It’s hard to see with the lamp on so I’ll deal with it. There’s also two softer spots on the bottom and side orb that are more dim. I’m not sure if it’s a defect in the bulbs so much as anything else. Still happy with the design and aesthetic it adds to a room! Twisting the orbs on can be tricky if you are not in the grooves - it can start to unscrew the fixture itself. It can be easily corrected if you grip tightly and turn the opposite direction and start again. Still mostly happy with the item - given those few little issues. ... show more

I prefer warm light . The lights are like plug-in USBs and put off very harsh LED light..... think the kind of halogen light that you don't want in your rearview mirror when you're driving at night. Also, the light doesn't extend very far. So, these would be best for lighting up a corner only. The design and appearance were fine and what I expected otherwise.
