    • Can’t beat the capability vs price with this machine
I’ve had this machine for almost a year and it’s been an absolute blast. For the price there is nothing remotely comparable. The sturdy frame, 1.5 kW vfd and ball screws allow this machine to cut pretty much any material, I’ve even cut steel and stainless steel with some patience. With that said, it’s a completely clean slate, no manual, no software, Un-programmed vfd, you pretty much have to figure it out for yourself, and that’s not for everyone. Key things when getting started - research how to program the vfd before touching anything, you can easily burn out the spindle, plenty of yt videos on how to do this. - spend the 175$ on mach3, it’s old but super robust and really the only software that works reliably on this machine. - If you’re cutting metal, ditch the end mills that came with the kit and buy some nice carbide cutters, it really makes a difference at the high speeds this machine runs at. ... show more

    • You will need to read all of the documentation and watch the videos
Arrived in a couple of boxes nicely packaged. Easy to set up, was not easy to get running. Watched the you tube videos, downloaded bunch of manuals from the CNCEST support sites. Joined a couple of forums to find answers. Three days to get running, it's a nice cnc machine. Making parts already.
