I've had this for about a year as a band-aid fix for a parasitic draw on my LS swapped RX7. I haven't been able to track down the issue yet and my battery would die after about a week if I didn't drive it enough. After using this for a year and turning the battery off every time I'm done using it my battery has stayed full and have had no issues. It's slightly more expensive then some other alternatives but it was been extremely convenient and worked as advertised with no issues. With my battery being relocated and covered in the trunk it has saved me a great deal of time. Be warned though some settings like your radio stations and other things may not save and be reset using it this way.

I had a problem with my 2012 Honda CR-V which had a small parasitic battery drain that would drain the battery over one or two days and I had to literally jump start it every weekend and sometimes it would die when I had to park it you know for longer period of time at the airport. I still didn't want to give up on my Honda CR-V which has over 200,000 miles and I was patient enough to jump start it and sometimes disconnect the battery when I travel out but this device that I've bought has been a miracle you know with the remote it's pretty easy you know I get out of the car lock the car and disconnect the battery and I have a peace of mind that when I get back, my car is gonna start. Works just as advertised and the remotes seem to be pretty good even for a distance of 20 to 25 feet so I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

First of all, I will admit I’m not a mechanic nor an expert on cars by any means. However, the install was extremely simple. I had recently purchased a 23 wide body hellcat jailbreak (dream car)… I bought the car with the expectation that it is highly sought after by thieves. Naturally I landed on this product. It does work really well for what it is designed for. The main issue I have is apparently while the kill switch was installed it arced and completely fried out my entire electrical system in my car. I only found out later that it voids all electrical warranties with dodge and am now out $15,000 and counting. My car has been in the shop for 6 weeks and 1 day because Chrysler and Dodge engineers are unable to locate and pinpoint the specific reason as to where it’s shorting. Each time they replaced a module it started shorting somewhere else. The mistake I made on my end was not removing the switch before bringing the car to the shop. But, please be aware of your manufacturer warranty and be cautious of installing. I’m out 15k plus the 6 weeks without a vehicle because of this switch. Was it a faulty switch? Maybe. I’m just sharing my personal experience and I NEVER leave reviews unless they’re extremely positive. This is probably my 1st or 2nd negative review in my life. To the company selling these: if you want any evidence proving as such please feel free to reach me anytime and I’d be more than happy to provide the reports from the dealership’s findings.

This product is excellent, I installed it on my new car the day after I purchased it, and it works well. It is as advertised, the car shuts down completely when you used the remote control. No concern of someone hacking into your system to copy your cars key fob’s code. Worth the $49.99 investment!

The media could not be loaded. It works, it’s installed but here’s my critique: A thief will open the hood noticing a dead battery and push the “On” button. This should be be a feature. I understand it is a fail safe, however relays are very ancient tech and are reliable for over a decade. No need for a manual “ON” button. The fitment was awful. My battery tie down, and the cell caps were in the way. I had to finagle things inappropriately out of the way to get it to fit. I also had to flip my Negative terminal as the post provided is too narrow. This box should simply be put on leads that would allow you to hide it anywhere in the vehicle. Something I may do anyway. With leads you could easily attach it to your fuel pump, ignition, ECU etc.. seems a very missed opportunity here. Overall would not buy or recommend for security, only for battery drain.

I have so much stuff hooked to my battery on my Jeep Wrangler that if it sat for 3 days without running it, it wouldn’t start. If I forget to turn off my auxiliary lights, the controller will turn off the battery. Remote works about 40’ away. Simple to install.

After installing I was VERY satisfied with this product...basically adding a keyless entry to my 1985 Mercedes (that has parasitic draw). My car threw an alternator belt without my knowing, and the switch automatically cut my power WHILE DRIVING because the volts were reading too low. I assume this is some feature built in. Great it saved my battery, but terrifying to lose power in the middle of traffic. I would have prefer some sort of sensor if the car is running, then power remains constant. Aside from that, works great.
