If you’re getting this cable to use a microphone on your apple product, it won’t work. This cable you’re getting (from outside of apple) will allow you to do just about most things like plugging in earbuds or a headset for listening to music n stuff. But when it comes to microphones, apple has specific stuff that only the cables they sell have, learned this after purchasing a couple different ones only to realize I can only use a microphone from the apple wires in specific, not just from anywhere. ... show more

The connection at the 3.5mm female connector is horrible. Have to move it in and out to get a good connection and if move it at all it causes static or quits working.

The media could not be loaded. I thought the male AUX was too big for the adapter but you have to press VERY hard for it to complete the connection. Just an FYI!
