I have a Samsung Galaxy zFlip 5 phone. Anyone who has a zFlip model knows the screen protector de-laminates at the fold area with use. These phones use very thin glass to be able to fold and needs the factory installed screen protector as a tiny scratch in the glass would propagate a crack in short order. Until recently I didn't know that the specialized protector layer could replaced and as a DIY kit at that. After 2.5 years my screen de-laminating was getting bad with accumulated dust under it. This kit saved the day. One of the draws to this brand was that it incudes an alignment tool that plugs into the USB-C port on the phone. That tool helps a lot. I would not say that installing the screen protector is easy. I have a lot of experience in precision alignment in machining, electronics and watch maintenance and I can tell you that to be successful on installing this on a zFlip phone you need to take it slow and do each step carefully. With that discipline the results are nothing short of fantastic. The one complaint I have is the included instruction sheet is barely adequate to understand the steps needed. It includes a QR code to a video but no URL so I couldn't see the video on my desktop computer--as I had already removed the factory screen protector and cleaned the phone. I had to hunt for a video--which was made difficult as Diacube's videos are titled in Korean. I would recommend using a guitar pick to help remove the factory screen protector. Do not use anything metal on the delicate glass. I finished the job--but with one spot where a piece of dust got under the film and I'm stuck with it until this material de-laminates at the fold and needs to be replaced again. One reviewer said that he replaces his zFlip protector every six months. As the instruction sheet states, watching the video is essential in getting all the steps right to have a successful install. From my experience the importance of the multiple de-dust steps cannot be overstated as there are multiple spots in the installation steps where dust can enter the surface. Some similar kits include a pad to keep the phone from sliding as you apply the film. This kit did not include that so I used a rubber mat that I already had that worked. The material has the amazing property of self-dissipating small air bubbles within 24 hours. I also waited 24 hours before I folded the phone to let the material settle to the opened shape. The kit comes with three protectors for the folding screen and three for the cover screen. I have not added the cover screen protector at this point. I had thought that I needed to replace my zFlip with the growing de-lamination but this kit saved the day. Poor instruction sheet aside it's still a strong five stars. ... show more

Got the wrong one and still worked flawlessly

Maybe I got lucky but I ordered the screen protector for the Z Flip 3 when I had the 4. Thankfully it worked and fit my phone perfectly. I had a flip prior to the 4 that unfortunately broke due a big scratch causing dead pixels. I wish I knew about this screen protector sooner. Now I'm not worried about this phone dying on me in 6 months. The glare is non-existant unless ur brightness is all the way down and you have bubbles still trapped. However it's pretty easy to push the bubbles out with your finger and there's no fear of scratching the screen protector, as it automatically repairs itself in 24hrs. I wouldn't put it in the same pocket as my keys regardless but a scratch won't require a screen protector replacement. ... show more

The screen protectors does what it's supposed to but as expected, the main screen protector eventually bubbles up around the crease/fold area. I'm not sure there's any other product that I haven't had that issue though so might just be a phone form factor thing. Otherwise, these are easy to install. It’s getting exhausting having to return so many products lately. It feels like almost everything ordered from Amazon recently has an issue, and with gas prices where they are, making a return trip is the last thing I want to do. The first red flag was that the product box had already been opened. I have a million things to do, but I had to stop and double-check the specifications just to make sure everything was even in the box. I couldn't find the exact details for this Flip 6 model, but I decided to trust the process anyway. I followed the printed instructions and the video perfectly, but the first cover screen protector had two straight lines that looked like scratches. Thinking it might just be a fluke, I tried the second one (it comes with three). It had the exact same lines in the exact same spot! It looks like they accidentally cut into the protector itself when manufacturing the disposable layers. Just another item to add to my to-do list—very frustrating. ... show more

I am a repair tech who is IMPRESSED

I have been a repair tech for 6 almost 7 years. Ever since the flips and folds came out, we've had customers who struggle with finding a good protector for their phones cuz most are very flimsy and don't actually protect anything. These screens are so sensitive a fingernail scratch can damage the screen. Fast forward. I decided to buy the flip 4 for myself cuz I fell in love with the phone after fixing so many of them. I had the factory screen protector but it started developing bubbles. I bought this cuz it said self healing... AND GUYS ITS NOT A JOKE ITS FOR REAL!!!! I decided to test it myself by scratching one of them with a blade. 24 hrs later and the scratch IS GONE! Applying it was easy and i had a bubble left at the folding part of the screen. I wake up today and it's gone! Only ever gonna buy from you guys and I'm trying to convince my boss to start selling these because they're amazing. ... show more

I followed the instructional video and used the alignment tool, but the screen protector was still misaligned. There are also tiny bubbles all over even after using the included squeegee tool.
