I used to use Bungee electric gates for the horses, which I do like, but decided to try these for a new paddock and I'm very happy! They're much more sturdy and I love how short they become when coiled up vs the bungee gate that still would need to be wrapped up onto the post or something. They also get an A+ for visibility and conductivity. I'll be swapping all of my electric gates to these.

It's smaller diameter than some but they work well and seem to not get over-stretched like some of the bigger diameters do. Some of the plastic parts broke too quickly. All and all a good kit for the money.

The media could not be loaded. These were just what the doctor ordered. Tired of putting in $200 gates to separate our fields. I was worried the dogs and goats might run under these, but with them spaced appropriately, they caught on quick. We used these on a 12-ft span and I was worried there might be sag in the line with them not stretched to 16-ft, but these springs keep good tension and have almost no sag. It is enough tension that our 6-year old struggled getting them hooked at first, but is now able to work the gate as well. The coils hangs neatly on the eyes when the gate is open and the handles help keep the coil from grounding against the post.

I recently started a garden and I installed electrical fencing, but I didn't know what to do about the gate part. These are definitely exactly what you would need if you are having a gate for an electric fence. It comes with everything you need to get everything connected to the Fence, so I just love it. The quality is good and I like the fact that I now don't have a vulnerable area in my fencing because this solves those problems.
