There’s curtains are a nice weight, not sheer at all and definitely keep the light out except on the side if using a straight rod. They were very creased when I unpackaged them, washed them in cold water on delicate cycle, hung to dry. Not all the creases came out and slightly wrinkled. They have been hanging for a few weeks now and appearance of wrinkles and creases are not as noticeable as they are laying down from weight of curtains and air quality in house. I do like these curtains even with creases as all curtains will have creases when unpacked. They are worth the money and will buy again.

I bought one pair of the white and they are bright white. Not off white or gray. I didn’t really care about the color as I just wanted them to go behind the insulated “blackout” drapes I previously purchased. The drapes did a fine job with insulation, but we’re not blackout. I wanted something to pull closed while watching tv during the day as my tv is facing the window. These are great quality for the price. Very heavy, definitely black out and insulating.

These curtains are great! I've had them for almost 3 years with no problems. I've mostly used them to cover a set of French doors, so they don't see the abuses of direct sun. It's important to note that simply hanging these as a normal set of curtains does not fully lightproof that space. I like to spread aluminum foil across the entire window and hang these like normal to catch any small amounts of light that may peek through the foil. The stitching on these is quality and I haven't had any loose threads or undone hems. The material is strong but soft. The outer black part feels like a strong t-shirt material while the white side feels more like microfiber. They also happen to offer a small amount of soundproofing for low level noise. Overall a great choice.

I absolutely adore these curtains! They are the best value for blackout curtains Amazon has to offer, well in my opinion anyway. This spring I needed to update some rooms at our farmhouse to get ready for a memorial, we had about 20 people staying at our home, all from different areas of the world. It was important for me to make sure that good sleep was had by all, I purchased these curtains for four bedrooms, I ordered black and white. I will say, the black are perfect! they block all the light from the outside, I hung these specifically on the west side of the house as that is the side the sun goes down, our guests did not complain and woke up looking well rested. I will say the white curtains are not as room darkening as the black, for obvious reasons. Do they block like the black curtains, no, do they do an incredible job of keeping the bright sunlight out on the east side of the house, absolutely! These curtains are in no way sheer...they are heavy so make sure you have your curtain brackets mounted with heavy duty screws, I didn't and had to rehang them, they are heavy, but get the job done. The one con I have about this product would be that they are not wrinkle free...hello they come folded! However I have steamed them several times, and by about the third steam, they were not noticeable to the average person. I did not try to iron them, as I was nervous about ruining them. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for an inexpensive blackout curtain.

I ordered white curtain. The curtain that arrived was good for blocking the light but it was not pure white or even canvas white color. It was more like light gray with some blue hues in it. The color did not go with my yellow wall so I returned it.
