Attached on 25 can am defender. Was worried it wouldnt fit correctly on center bar between seats and it did. Dosent screw down all the way but it’s tight. Good quality but dosent feel like aluminum, feel more like hard plastic. But it’s sturdy.

The overall functionality of this design is great, a simple pull of the pin, lift off the bar mount, and spring into action, all within a few seconds. I hate the other designs out there, that allow for the securement to pop loose from vibration and bouncing, which we naturally have from a Utility vehicle. My complaint is the lack of Stainless steel clamps supplied with the mount. I live in a salt air environment, and expect to use corrosive inhibitors periodically on anything that is exposed, especially springs, latches, hinges, etc, that didnt come in stainless steel. I ended up replacing the supplied clamps, with ones made out of stainless, and used thick rubber to cushion between the clamp and the roll bar mount. It’s just one area they should be supplying better hardware ( after all it’s designed for a product meant to be left outdoors ) for an otherwise very good product. ... show more

I highly recommend this item. It's a very universal fit as well as functional. Installing is easy. You need to test fit to make sure it's convenient and functional, after all, it is an emergency piece of equipment. It's sturdy. Works well. 5 stars.
