These are supposed to be universal, but they didn't fit my toilet seat screw holes. The screws got partway in the hole but didn't fit the rest of the way. I tried using the nuts on the old screws since that's what I needed anyway since the old ones fell off. The nuts were too small.

I recently installed a new toilet in my bathroom. The seat came with nylon hinge bolts. Needless to say, I'm constantly adjusting the seat because the nylon hinge bolts can't be adequately tightened. So, I ordered these stainless toilet seat hinge bolts to solve the problem once and for all. These hing bolts did indeed solved the problem. The bolts can be tightened far better than the old nylon bolts and seat stays firmly in place now. Overall, I'm quite pleased with these stainless steel toilet seat hinge bolts. They are well made, include everything you'll need, and are well worth the price. I recommend them as replacement hinge bolts for any toilet seat that won't stay in place.

I am always having issues with my toilet seat screws loosening or falling off the toilet seat flanges. I got these because they provide a couple different options for loading up each screw. For the rubber washer/grommet that fits into the toilet hole there are 2 sizes provided. I took a photo showing each configuration. There are also 3 rubber washers/grommets provided for each screw which should help it stay into place once tightened. I am hopeful this will work on my seat and keep it on for a while.

My wife kept asking me to tighten the seat in the bathroom often so I looked up some fixes and came across this great repair. We are big folks so big butts = loose toilet seats. Not anymore. The installation seemed easy enough if you are somewhat mechanically inclined. The washer stack can be tricky to get right if you don't work with your hands much, but shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Bottom line is, a few months later and I haven't had to tighten the seat once. Good value for the price and did the job great. Would recommend.
