I will preface this review by saying that I've been working with animals and in the veterinary field for over 50 years. I currently have four small breed dogs but have owned large breed dogs and other animals for years. My youngest dog (one year old) loves sticks and carries them all over the yard. So I am always on the lookout for any toy that might be of interest to him and these new wood based 'stick' toys really seem to fit his needs. I opened this one up and he immediately grabbed it from me and started chewing on it. He's not a big dog (about 18 pounds) but he can really chew up things and he really enjoyed working on this bone toy. He carried it all over the house and yard for awhile before I took it away from him. This will be a great toy to use for mental stimulation. It has some small indentions in it that can be filled with peanut butter or coconut oil to add to it's appeal. I think it will probably last forever with my size dog. I would definitely buy it again.

This is the best nylon bone I’ve ever gotten! My dog absolutely loved this toy. I’ve gotten similar nylon chew toys in the past that I’ve liked, but they would not last long before the surface became very damaged to the point of needing replacement. When I saw this one, I just thought it looked really aesthetically pleasing I had to try it. Not only does it look really nice, my dog thoroughly enjoyed it. Even after a long chewing session, the surface still looks in decent condition, with only some notable damage. It seems like this will last longer than others we have tried in the past. It’s a really large bone, the size of this bone is perfect for my 62 lb golden doodle. I am super happy with this bone!

The size is great for our super chewer! He loves it and carries it with him everywhere. In the evening he settles in and gnaws it for hours. So far, it hasn't chipped away too much. It's a good size for our 50 lb dog. His jaws are not as big as a rottweiler but he still gets his mouth around it with no problem. I did worry that he'd chew right through it but instead he kind of savors it - too funny! Should keep him happy for at least a month before I'll need to replace it.

My 10 month old lab is a heavy chewer. She lovessss bones, but this is safe. It has kept her busy for hours and she seems to love the flavor. It’s quite large so if you have a smaller dog I wouldn’t get it- but if you have a larger dog this is perfect. Wonderful quality

Both of our dogs are aggressive chewers and go through a lot of chew toys. I liked that this one let them safely embrace the desire to chew on sticks. They have both chewed on this toy a good amount and it is so far holding up very well. I have no complaints, the puppers are happy, and so am I.

Great for aggressive chewers. The texture is cool, it really does kind of look like a piece of wood. It’s pretty lightweight and the round edges make it harder for your dog to get it back in their molars and really chomp on it. All the dogs seem to enjoy it.

I have a 10 month old rescue pup whose job in life is to destroy everything he encounters. I am always on the lookout for toys or bones that will hold his attention and last more than 14 seconds. This wood-like chew toy is just that! It’s large and he loves gnawing on it so far, and it hasn’t splintered or otherwise gotten worn. I did not notice any smell, but my dog may have as he took it from me as soon as I opened it.
