I've had issues on older R22 Trane liquid line isolation valves not reaching the valve while closed. I had to bust out the allen keys to avoid stripping the valve. These keys shouldn't be complicated or expensive to manufacture. I hate being forced into buying expensive name brand keys when the product is so simple. I guess I'll go back to bending over for Yellow Jacket. Works on most units I've encountered, but what's the point in having a tool that forces you into multiple van trips? It's not worth saving ten bucks to have a tool you can't always depend on. ... show more

These were a perfect replacement for my HVAC service wrench bit. The ball bearing fell out on a different brand and these got me up and running. No more dropping the bit! They have worked great with a wide variety of king valves. 4 stars as the length of the bit could be a bit longer.

These are a must have for an HVAC tech. The alternative is to use an Allen wrench and take 20 mins to do a job you can accomplish in 10 seconds with this tool, Your customer doesn't want to pay an extra 20mins to open a few valves.
