I love affordable but like FREE even more! I always joke and say these solar panels are free electricity. I used it today to charge my Bluetooth speaker and it works great. It won’t work for your iPhone because the plug isn’t compatible, but it can power cameras, speakers, etc. that use the common flat plug. Also comes with a usb c converter.

I connected the solar panel I bought to a Zumimall wireless outdoor security camera that I bought from Amazon in 2021. This was the first solar panel I had ever bought (other than solar-powered lights with the solar panel already integrated), so I wasn't sure what to expect. *-Installation couldn't have been much simpler: One end of the 9.8ft cable that comes in the box is hardwired directly to the bottom of the solar panel. The other end of the cable is a male USB-C connector that can be connected directly to your device or to the supplied USB-C to USB Micro-B adapter (with the supplied plastic protector), then to your device. Connect the cable to your device & put the solar panel in the light, & that's it. There was nothing to configure or set for my camera; it just immediately started charging. I deducted one star because I've only had the solar panel for a few days, so I can't comment on the longevity of the device. * - This is a budget solar panel, so the instructions/manual were kind of limited. - MOUNTING The only issue I had with the solar panel was finding a suitable place to mount it. I had a camera already attached to the house, so there weren't a ton of options for mounting the solar panel & I didn't want to relocate the camera. Amazon sells a gutter mount & an extension for mounting these types of solar panels, but unfortunately, neither would work for my application. Not being sure how much I could shade the panel & if it would still work, I opted for mounting the solar panel in an area on the roof next to the gutter, which is in direct sunlight for most of the day. So far, it is working great!

The fact that it is compatible with a broad variety of security cameras and gadgets, as well as having ports that are both Micro USB and USB-C, eliminates the need for using adapters or power sources that are proprietary. My ability to mix and match components from a variety of manufacturers without encountering any compatibility difficulties has been made possible by this flexibility, which has been a game-changer. If I wanted to set the panel on a level surface or connect it to a wall or fence, the mount offered a sturdy and stable base. This allowed me to ensure that the panel received the most amount of sun exposure possible, which resulted in the highest possible charging efficiency. I was able to strategically position my security cameras without being attached to a nearby power source because of the wide cable length of 9.8 feet, which provided me with considerable freedom in terms of positioning.

I purchased this solar panel for my Vision Well camera to see if maybe it would help get better and longer videos, also purchased here on amazon, as the cameras was sending out delayed and lots of 5 or 10 seconds video even when there was motion and still under the trial subscription. I thought maybe the solar panel might give it extra power and that might help. I checked it after a few days when I noticed it was not charging and camera was still getting lots of short videos. I wanted to move and adjust panel to get better sunlight to see if though might help. When I started to unplug solar panel from the camera the usb just fell off. After looking at usb type C on both the solar panel and the camera this is what I discovered. It totally messed up my camera and the usb on solar panel is also messed up. Totally disappointed!! Returned and Requested refund as Item was defective and also ruined my camera!!! Would give it -0 stars. Very disappointed with this product!

I use these to charge my Bluetooth speaker and battery operated mister fan on my patio. They work great. They will not charge a phone or laptop. They're compact enough, where they blend in, but get the job done. Great for low wattage applications.
