I just received my second furnace. The first one I first had to replace the probe which they sent me at no charge. I over cooked and spilled in the furnace messing up all the inners. So they agreed to send me the second furnace at a discount. And my original purchase was over a year ago. Great customer service. Takes a little for them to respond but they always do ... show more

I ordered this furnace about 5 months ago. I use it for vacuum casting jewelry. Unfortunately it stopped working and I contacted the company to check into any kind of warranty. They responded quickly with problem solving tips but these tips did not fix my furnace. Goodcrafter sent me an upgraded replacement furnace free of charge. The upgraded furnace has handles and a safety enclosure. I unboxed the new furnace and plugged it in and so far it works great. I purchased a “Goodcrafter” burner. In the packaging I found these metal labels that said ToAuto. So who made this?? Peel off one label and stick another on crooked and sell!!! No thanks. I’m returning it and hoping the upgraded one is best. …EDIT…, the company contacted me and asked for a new review after i handled the return and purchased the upgraded model. I did choose to return the pictured model. They state the extra metal stick-on labels are for this unit that is marketed by both companies. Just sloppy packing having the “ToAuto” labels stuck to the wrapping. I have added a star for customer service. Very responsive. I am very happy so far with the unit I now have. Which again was all handled by me myself returning this one and buying the other one. The company did not do the exchange on their own because I already had it in progress but I am sure they would have handled it if I would have called them. ... show more

i’ve had this furnace since september, roughly 3 months, which is a great amount of time to post a review. i have my own jewelry line and ALL of my pieces were made using this furnace & i have ZERO complaints. not only does this thing warm up easily, but it heats up to the perfect pouring temps. i’ve casted sterling & sterlium silver, continuum silver, 10k & 14k solid gold, while doing my initial tests using brass/herculoy. i’ve never used the furnace to it’s hottest point and i love the fact that you can set the temp to stop at a certain degree since i have to time each metal accordingly before pouring. of course, continuously working w/ something that gets this hot will eventually wear down so having a 12mo warranty is a life saver. i had an issue with the top part which holds the crucible and realized their customer service is outstanding! Anna was so helpful and prompt with her responses and is sending me the piece to replace. if you have any issues or find your machine problematic, don’t hesitate to contact the seller. i cannot recommend this product enough and i’ve become addicted to working with it! tip: make sure to season your crucible well before your first use and an having additional one will come in handy down the line. ... show more

My clamps that grap the crucible do not match up on both sides and when you're carrying a couple pounds of molten metal that's extremely dangerous, the lid is wobbly but can probably be fixed by using a larger bolt, I haven't used it to melt because of the clamps, will update if I find a work around. ... show more

it would have been nice if the power cord was included in the package UPDATED THEY SENT ME THE CORD AND OFFERED TO SEND ME EXTRA CRUCIBLES FOR MY TROUBLE

This product seems like a great buy. Total waste of time and money! I was very disappointed in the quality of this product. From labels peeling off, to the crucible crumbling into pieces, worst furnace I've ever used. Total garbage!! Should be ZERO STARS!!!!
