I chose the white birch tree and I really like it. If you take the time to shape the branches evenly it makes a nice piece of decor. It's just an added bonus that it emits just enough light to also use it as a nightlight if one wants to do so. The bark part of the tree looks nice but it is not paper as I thought it was but rather some type of vinyl like tape. I still think it is well executed and looks fine even though it is different than what I expected. Keep it mind it does not have a regular power cord, it has a usb cable. It has the ability to attach the cord to a transformer (which IS NOT included) if you chose to plug it in to the wall. You can also use 3AA batteries to power it. I would have given this a 5 star rating had the base been thought out better. The main base looks out of place and like an afterthought to me. I will do something to enhance the look of mine. As is, it looks like a block of cheap white plastic.....well....because it is. ... show more
