  • Fast and Easy to install - $10 repair Fast and Easy to install - $10 repair
Diagnosed the problem on our GE Gas Dryer on Friday and by Saturday afternoon the solenoid kit was installed and the dryer was back in service. Excellent value. Compatible with GE Dryer. Easy to install and test run.

  • Fixed my issue Fixed my issue
Fit perfect and fixed my issue. It only took 15 minutes to replace. They were both keyed so I could not put them in incorrectly. A good product. I would recommend it. My dryer wasn't heating. Everything on my dryer was working perfectly except when the ignition light came on there was no flame. My dryer is a general electric gas unit. By replacing these two items it allowed the gas to flow properly so there was an ignition and heat. p.s. Be sure you connect both of them before putting the dryer all back together. ... show more

  • Perfect replacement, fixed dryer not staying hot
I spent a couple of days and several hours trying to diagnose our dryer that was no longer staying hot. It would heat up for a few minutes and then stop heating for the rest of the cycle. I tested every component including the high temp thermostat, cycling thermostat, igniter, flame detector, and even the solenoids and all of them tested as "good" according to the information I could find online. This being the easiest and cheapest part to replace I decided to try and sure enough the dryer works perfectly now. It seems that the solenoids on most dryers tend to fail slowly rather than immediately so it's harder to diagnose. So if you're having similar issues (igniter functions and flame is established, but won't stay on) I would try this first. ... show more

  • Perfect fit, works great!
I installed these in my Kenmore dryer, and they worked PERFECTLY!!! Make sure when you install these that the metal sleeve on the 3 prong coil stays on the shaft, and doesn't stay in the old coil. Also, each coil has a tit on the top that fits in respective holes in the hold down bracket. You'll have to rotate the coil on the shaft to index the coil into the bracket. ... show more

  • Samsung Dryer - Gas Valve Assy 25M01A-100 - Solenoids F91-3889 & F91-3890
UPDATE: After all the info below, this part was not the fix, the new coils measured almost identical resistances to the in-service coils, therefore my dryer’s issue is still there. The only thing that still bugs me is that these coils don’t measure what the technical service document says they should measure. If I find the fix, I’ll post it here. I purchased this very item (kit) in February 2019. Well, back then they were the fix, but 35 months later the same issue of clothes taking longer to dry has returned. This "kit" # 279834 is the way to go, see my comments below. However, I will not buy this same product again, I want to try a different third-party manufacturer of the kit (279834), to see if it lasts longer than 3 years. If you have a Samsung Model DV328AGW/XXA, your Gas Valve Assembly should be 25M01A Type 128. This Gas Valve Assembly was made by White-Rodgers, who designates this by their own MFG P/N 25M01A-100 (Universal Replacement Clothes Dryer Combination Gas Control). Also, the label on the Gas Valve Assembly reads Maytag (Customer of White-Rodgers) Part No. 6-3061760. In short, this is a White-Rodgers manufactured assembly, made for Maytag (purchased in crazy bulk?), and Maytag appears to have re-sold these to Samsung for installation in their dryers. Noting the above, the 25M01A-100 utilizes Secondary Solenoid Coil Model Number F91-3889 (single coil, two pin) and Booster/Holding Coils Model Number F91-3890 (dual coil, three pin). According to this listing, for Ultra Durable # 279834, it is a third-party manufacturer of this kit/set of two solenoids. The # 279834 actually refers to the Whirlpool Dryer Gas Valve Coil Kit 279834, and it is equivalent to the two White-Rodgers solenoids. By the way, White-Rodgers is a division of Emerson Electrical Co. Also, remember that # 279834 is manufactured by Whirlpool, and the individual OEM solenoid coils are manufactured by Emerson and likely White-Rodgers, I'm sure there's more out there, just adding to the confusion. Anyway, searching online appliance stores, they cross-reference the Kit # 279834 (two solenoids) to be able to replace individual solenoids F91-3889 and F91-3890 (among other part numbers). So yes, this is good for use on many Samsungs, in particular, those whose Gas Valve Assemblies are White-Rodgers # 250M01A-100 (25M01A Type 128) or Maytag P/N 6-3061760. ... show more

  • dryer heat issue resolved !
My older Kenmore series 70 gas dryer would initially produce heat but roughly half way through the drying cycle it no longer produced heat though the drum continued to rotate. This resulted in clothes only being partially dried. Replacing these two gas valve solenoids fixed the problem. Easy to do. Solenoids fit many brands. ... show more

  • Fixed my old Maytag Dryer
My magtag dryer quit heating a couple of weeks ago. My husband who is very handy, thank goodness, was able to diagnose that it was this part. He was able to open the dryer door and easily install the part into the dryer. After installation, it was time to test if it would work. I had my fingers crossed! We started it up and it if oted and kept running and heating the dryer! I was so happy. We had tried another part before and it didn't work. It has been a couple of days now and still working like a champ. You just can't beat those old Maytag. The part shipped very quickly. We also received it very quickly as well. I just had to wait for my husband to install it. I would definitely purchase this item again. The description on the order was very good and I was able to find that this particular part worked for my specific dryer. It fit perfectly! I was worried about what the price would be since my dryer is at least 25 years old ( have I mentioned that the old washer and dryers are the best?). Anyway we found this part and to my surprise, it was under $10, and we got 2 of them! I am so thankful for a handy husband, and for this inexpensive part that fixed us right back up and I am again able to dry all this laundry! Thank you!! ... show more
