Description

Installation Instructions: 1) Level the WASHER by rotating front feet with an adjustable wrench to raise/lower. Use a level on top of WASHER until it is completely level, both front-to-back and side-to-side. 2) Clean the top of the WASHER with an all-purpose cleaner, then ensure it is completely dry. 3) Remove the leveling feet from the bottom of the DRYER with an adjustable wrench. 4) Clean the bottom of the DRYER with an all-purpose cleaner, then ensure it is completely dry. 5) Peel protective paper from the adhesive side of one of the foam strips provided. Stick the foam strip along the bottom edge of the DRYER covering small ribs along the bottom edge of the cabinet. Repeat on each edge of the bottom of the DRYER (all four bottom directions). NOTE: Foam strips should not stick out past the edge of DRYER cabinet. 6) With an assistant, lift DRYER on top of WASHER. Line up back of DRYER with back of WASHER. 7) Locate the two horizontal slots in back of DRYER cabinet (directly above stacking bracket screw holes in back of WASHER cabinet). Insert curved end of the metal stacking bracket into horizontal slots on back of DRYER. Attach brackets to the back of the WASHER with provided screws.

Did a washer/dryer stack for Whirlpool units- the system is simple and solid. Hardest part is loading the dryer on top once you have the velcro on. This is a issue with gravity - not the stack kit-- Get a strong friend or 2 to help .

Excellent concept and we were excited to use - however, did not fit our Whirlpool DUET washer/dryer combo. The dryer unit had to hang over the back of the washer by about an inch and screws did not fit in the washing machine holes correctly. I would return it if i could but we waited to long to do our project so i lost my chance. ... show more

The brackets are heavy duty and the two sided tape worked well. the self tapping screws are cheap and will strip out when you try to install them in the thick metal frame of the washer, so be prepared to make a trip to the hardware store.....Fit a Maytag model MHWE500VW10 perfectly...

I glanced through the reviews before purchasing, and this seemed to work for half, and not for the other half. So I bought this and another kit, the official Whirlpool kit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UVYNLQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to cover both cases, since time is of the essence in this case. Well, neither kit worked. However, I used the two white brackets from this kit, and the screws and rubber strips from the Whirlpool kit. The brackets had to be bent and contorted to fit. I only used these because they are white. They are otherwise the same as the clamps in the Whirlpool kit. Between both, the dryer is firmly stacked and won't be moving, but neither kit fit as intended. ... show more

We wanted to stack our dryer on top of the washing machine. These brackets worked perfectly and feel so substantial and sturdy. We didn't use the optional strip of double sided foam tape, wasn't necessary.
