This is a heavy tire, with good knobs for general riding. I put this on my electric XC Mountain Bike, front wheel because it has thick sidewalls and will resist pinch punctures better than performance or other lighter tires. This is an excellent budget wheel if you're not a competitive XC Mountain biker. Seems durable, and it fit snugly making installation easy.

This tire has been a fantastic upgrade for my Trek mountain bike's aging tires. It mounted easily and immediately proved its worth out on the trails. While the rubber compound might not feel as premium as some of the top-dollar brands, it seems more than durable enough to hold up to my style of riding without any issues. For the price, the performance you get is outstanding. The most critical factor, of course, is grip, and this tire has it in spades. I've pushed it through a variety of corners, from loose dirt to hardpack, and my front wheel has felt completely planted the entire time. That confidence is key when you're leaning into a turn, and I no longer have that nagging concern about the front end washing out. It provides predictable, reliable traction that lets you focus on your line instead of worrying about your equipment. A great performer that delivers where it counts.

Being a lifelong mountain biker, and a person who has built bikes, my very first impression when I got this tire in my hands was that, it’s really heavy. It weighs in at 34.2 ounces, or approximately 2.14 pounds. As I examine the tire, I think that most of that weight, is because of the thick sidewall. If you’re not a weight weenie, this might be good for you. You certainly could run it at a lower pressure for increased loose dirt traction, with less worry of pinch flats. If I was going to run this on my bike, it would undoubtedly be on the front. One thing I really do like is the tread pattern. It reminds me of one of my favorite tires(except the weight). On close examination, it does appear to be very well made and with its medium compoundmaterial, it’s bound to be durable. It’s also not a tire that’s going to break the bank. However, if you don’t understand the physics involved in heavy tires, you should read about that. It will affect rolling resistance, inertia, and how nimble it handles. If you’re racing or hill climbing, you may wanna look for another tire. For casual XC rides, this could be a real winner.

Smooth microknobby tire. These type of tires are great for dry off road conditions and will perform very well on paved roads too. They are not great for greasy mud but are a great option for all around riding or dry season mountain biking. I like that they offer a nice big 2.35" tire.

The FengCan 2x2.35 MTB tire seems to be a decent replacement tire for casual offroad riders. It's about as wide as it can be at 2.35" on a 26" rim and there's some added weight from that extra width, but I suspect also from the rubber used on this tire. The tread pattern is very uniform with smaller knobbies which don't do very well offroad, especially if you're aired up for the pavement. Still, it's a decent all around tire if your needs aren't performance demanding. It does everything pretty decent, but nothing super well. Tread wear hard to say but feels like a medium compound so not the most grippy but a middle ground between performance, price and durability. Little on the heavy side though. Looks and feels very similar to the tires that came on our Chinese ebike.
