Plenty of firm-holding swivels and snaps. They spin smooth and swap lures fast. This assortment gives me more than enough swivels and snaps to cover the kind of fishing I do here in Utah. Between the lakes and mountain streams, you can hook anything from a sunfish to a channel cat, and this set handles both ends well. The range of sizes makes it easy to match the rig to the fish you're after. I did some field testing on Hyrum Reservoir (tough work), using a few of the smaller barrel swivels for lightweight trout setups. They performed well in bringing in both large blue gill and decent sized trout. I’ll save the larger snap-swivels for when I’m chasing deeper fish from shore with heavier tackle. The swivels spin clean without binding. I haven’t seen any twist in the line after casting or retrieving. That’s a good sign they’re built right. I’ve had enough gear over the years to know a cheap swivel can ruin a good line in no time. These don’t feel cheap. The snaps open easily with a fingernail but stay locked under pressure. I’ve swapped lures out on the water without fumbling. They hold firm once latched. That matters when your hands are wet or cold. No rough edges, either. Nothing to fray the line. I haven’t taken them into saltwater, but they look ready for it. The finish is smooth and polished. The assortment comes in a small, latching box that should fit easily into almost any tackle box. Value Rating: Solid. A huge number (could last a lifetime) that covers a wide range of fish sizes. Bottom Line: Whether I’m going light for trout or setting up for something bigger, I’ve always got the right size swivel or snap handy. This is a great swivel and snaps to use when setting up your fishing pole with your hook and sinker. Whatever knot you use to attach to your fishing line, There are many different sizes depending on what pound of fishing line your using. Most blister packs may only have a few when buying at retail, and because having the choices when tying your setup up on your fishing line; makes this box versatile already being in your tackle box. These worked well and having a good set up will help quick changing. Anything to help you catch more fish is always good whether in salt water or fresh water. Most hooks are already have a line attached so the quick clips and lures quickly changing help if you lose if caught on a rock or snag. Having to buy a few blister packs to have the different sizes at retail, makes this a good buy and a great value to keep in your tackle box.
