Great set for cleaning up and polishing headlights. These are quality made and don't disintegrate with use, which makes them re-usable after a quick cleaning. They do a very good job at polishing.

I picked this set up to make cleaning up my daughter's car headlights from oxidation a bit easier, and it worked just like I hoped it would. I used three pads in sequence with my drill on low speed, using Novex plastic polish in the three grits, after the sandpaper steps from a 3M kit, and it did just beautifully. good looking kit and functions well for smaller jobs like spot painting and waxing small or tight areas. Good selection of pads and they seem to be fairly durable but Ive only used a few of them extensively. at the cost its a good value and all you need is the appropriate buffing compound (not included, I prefer the "Mag.." brand) and away you go! ... show more

    • Works great for smaller projects.
This is a good polishing kit. You can get a cheaper half-sized one or more expensive ones with more pads and you don't seem to really save money by getting larger kits which is kind of odd. Anyways, this kit has a nice assortment of pads although it does not come with any polish and the pads are simply different softness and don't actually contain any polishing grit or anything. So keep in mind you will need some wax or polish or something. I do like that it comes with two attachment doodads (mandrils?) that are suited for a drill, and then two that fit an impact driver. Honestly it seems kind of weird that they even bother with the round ones since a drill can hold the hex ones better anyways. Also the screw parts are different for each one although they both do fit the hook and loop pads. The pads do stick well and dont come off which is good. I think these are better suited for smaller detailing for a car I guess but moreso for smaller epoxy projects or furniture or other arts and crafts that needs detailed polishing. For a car, Id prefer the big 8 inch polishing wheels for most of it. So I am surprised they are marketing for cars. But whatever. All in all, this seems like a solid kit and is cost effective.     • GET THIS NOW! HOW CAN YOU NOT!
Versatile and useful. My wife is into resin casting, and we've been working on figuring out how to polish them and make them shine after having to clean them up. I know it's possible.... I've seen the videos, but I'm not sure how it works. I put this into my little Ryobi drill, and GO! it's part magic eraser, part rotating orbital sander, and it seems to work well. I have to make sure I get a fine enough sanding pads to go with it, but it works really well when paired with the right polish. I love this, and it's super durable! The fact that it comes with 2 sets of pads, and it works efficiently. The price would be amazing for a single set, but for a double, you can't find this value! ... show more

wasn’t expecting much from a 26-piece buffing pad kit at this price, but these pads are actually decent. They fit my drill well and haven’t fallen apart after a few uses. Good selection of pad types and densities. They do shed a bit on the first use, but after that, they’re solid. I used them for headlight restoration and some polishing on my truck, and they held up fine. ... show more
