I have no issues with slightly scrunched trees, trees in nature aren’t perfect either. It’s easy enough to glue beads as Christmas ornaments in these few openings. And as with real Christmas trees, you can always turn the tree to the wall where it might be considered unsightly. I plan on gluing three blocks together with the letters J O Y on the front of the blocks, placing a tree on top of each block. As for the off-white trees, I will place them in a bath of diluted acrylic paint and tint them the color I want. To add more snow, white acrylic brushed on the branches.
