I absolutely love these adjustable dumbbells. If you’re trying to build a home gym or just don’t want a rack full of weights taking up half a room, these are such a smart purchase. They’ve made working out at home so much easier. The adjustment system is simple and quick. I can switch between weights in just a few seconds, which keeps my workouts moving instead of stopping to swap plates. Everything locks in securely, and I’ve never felt like the weights were loose or unsafe. The biggest selling point for me is the convenience. Instead of having multiple pairs of dumbbells cluttering the floor, these take up very little space and store neatly on their trays. They’re perfect for anyone with a small workout area or who just likes things organized. The handles are comfortable to grip, the weights feel balanced, and the overall quality exceeded my expectations. They feel sturdy and well built, not like a cheap gimmick. I’ve used them for everything from shoulder presses and curls to rows, lunges, and goblet squats, and they’ve been fantastic. The only thing I’d recommend is wearing workout gloves. The knurled grip gives you good control, but during longer workouts or when you’re lifting heavier weights, gloves make them much more comfortable on your hands. If you’re debating adjustable dumbbells, I honestly don’t think you’ll regret these. They’ve saved me space, made my workouts more efficient, and have become one of my favorite pieces of home gym equipment. I’d absolutely buy them again.

I've been interested in an adjustable dumbbell set for years and finally decided to give it a try. I have to say, I'm very pleased so far. The weight comes with a base stand which you are supposed to use when changing the unit weight setting and for storing any weights not currently being used. The base works well, but it is a little less substantial than I would have expected. It's very lightweight and plastic and I don't think it would take much for it to crack. I am concerned that dropping the weight onto the base could actually damage it. Adjusting the weight is incredibly smooth and easy. You just twist the grip and it increases/decreases the number of attached plates. I was very pleased with how well this worked. To store the dumbbell or change the weight you just slide the dumbbell back into the base and twist. The weight has a very comfortable rubberized grip and it's all very well balanced. Again, I have some concern about the durability of the weights themselves. Each weight is encased in a rigid plastic housing. If you drop this on a concrete floor, it's almost guaranteed to crack or break. A crack might just be a cosmetic issue, but a break could affect its ability to mate with other weights. As such, I would be very careful not to drop the weight. The unit comes with a very easy to read one-sheet user manual and a less useful diagram of possible exercises. The diagram isn't very well detailed and the majority of the exercises require two dumbbells. I do have some reservations about the material quality, but so far I'm very pleased with the unit.

This is the third adjustable dumbbell purchase that I have made for my home gym. My primary set of dumbbells is an 80lb set of Eisenlink dumbbells. I chose that set because they are basically indestructible, the only downside is that the process to change weights is a bit cumbersome. I also own a single 55lb adjustable dumbbell (generic brand). I decided to get this dumbbell because I wanted something smaller that utilized the handle quick-change option. For what I was looking for, this dumbbell definitely meets my needs. I got the 26.5 single dumbbell option. The most odd thing about this particular dumbbell is the weight (26.5 lbs) and the weight change options - 5, 9, 13.5, 18, 22.5 and 26.5. Those options just are not typical. If you are considering this dumbbell, pay close attention to the different options, there appear to be three different dumbbell configurations being sold on this one product page. I like the traditional hex shape of the 26.5 dumbbell, thus I chose that option. Like most adjustable dumbbells that use a handle quick-change option, the dumbbell sits in a cradle. The cradle is plastic, however, the plastic seems to be heavy duty enough. I would definitely not slam or drop the dumbbell into the cradle for fear of breaking it. Breakage is something that I am always fearful of with adjustable dumbbells (this my choice of Eisenlink for my primary set). While this dumbbell seems to be a solid construction, it is definitely not a dumbbell that I would ever consider dropping, even from a low height. I do believe that if you treat this dumbbell with care it will last, however, I would not test the durability via any dropping. The quick-change system seems to work well. There is a noticeable "click" when changing weight. The handle is a rubber handle. I would prefer a metal knurled handle, however, I do understand that for the value price, some compromises need to be made. The rubber on the handle is good, it does not have a plastic or a slick feel to it, your grip is solid. Overall, this is a decent dumbbell at a competitive price. I am glad to have this as a part of my home gym setup.

This is an adjustable dumbbell. It can be adjusted for 5 pounds, 9 pounds, 13.5 pounds, 18 pounds, 22.5 pounds, and 26.5 pounds. These five available weight settings provide a really good weight range for women, children, and those just looking to tone their muscles without trying to bulk up. The design is nice. There are buttons on the most inward plate on each side of the handle that when depressed allow an internal bar to extend or retract when the handle is twisted. These buttons are depressed when the set is in its cradle. The bar slides into or out of the middle of the weight plates. This selects how the individual weight plates are added and removed and consequently, the weight setting. When the buttons are released, the handle and bar are locked so movement of the dumbbell won't accidentally move the bar, allowing the weights to come off. This allows for quick weight adjustments, and it functions safely, smoothly and efficiently. The dumbbell is sturdy and well made. The components, even the plastic parts, are good quality. I like that you can increase the weight by fairly low amounts which is great for my wife. Of a variety of adjustable dumbbells that I have, this one is the one I like best. I wish I had a pair instead of just one.

This adjustable dumbbell has been a nice addition to our home gym. One of the biggest advantages is how quickly you can change the weight.
