The EnterSports Store's Adjustable Dumbbell Set should be of strong interest to persons who enjoy strength training, working out, or simply "staying in shape." My wife and I were amazed at how innovative this dumbbell set is. We were drawn to ordering it because the product description suggested that it could easily replace the old, traditional style of individually-weighted dumbbells or those that required removing or adding weighted plates and then securing them by hand. This set of dumbbells has a "set it and forget" design that can raise or lower the weight by simply changing the setting on the handle. This not only simplifies the process, but it also saves time and space. Before ordering the EnterSports Store's adjustable dumbbells, we stored our individually-weighted dumbbells separately in a metal cart. Now, I'm thinking we should donate those dumbbells, along with the cart, to a charity. It's hard to appreciate just how well this set performs without actually using it. I speak from experience, because the product far exceeds my expectations, making my strength training and physical therapy easier and more enjoyable. I've tested and reviewed many products over the years, and not just for Amazon. In my experience, this is one of the most innovative products I've tested.

This pair of adjustable-weight dumbbells is a great way to reduce the clutter of so many dumbbells in the workout area that my husband and I share. It’s great that I can still use all the way down to just 4.5lbs, and my husband can still be happy with the maximum 26.5lbs. Everything in between is great, too, for different kinds of workouts. And of course I’m happy that this comes as a pair for the types of workouts that require engaging both arms at once. All of my old dumbbells and their dumbbell rack will be going to a new home ASAP. The metallic handle on these dumbbells is easy to grip for both my very small hands and my husband’s much larger hands. It has some texture to it to make it more grip-able without reducing comfort at all; these don’t rub my delicate skin raw. They’re a bit large and funny-looking, but they get the job done. You just have to get used to the fact that they’re not perfectly balanced. Since there’s more material at the bottom, more weight is distributed at the bottom of each dumbbell, so when you’re moving your arms during an exercise, the balance might feel a little unusual at first. Their bases are a hard, sturdy plastic, and so are the ends of the dumbbells that hold the weights. The plastic looks alright with plenty of small, aesthetic flaws upon close examination. These do not affect the functionality. When released from the dumbbells, the identical weights sit freely in their slots so that you can lift them up and examine them. When setting a dumbbell back down on its base, the weights that had been left there can wiggle around a bit, so you have to focus on your positioning to get the dumbbells back in place. Once they’re in their place, you simply spin the handle until the arrow selects the amount of weight you’d like to use, and you’ll hear and feel a satisfying click with each weight change. Starting at 4.5lbs, these increase by 5.5lbs with each toggle, which allows the free weights to be identical so that you can’t accidentally mix them up. Each dumbbell arrives in its own box with its own set of instructions and a workout poster, so that’s two copies of each. Both are horrific translations that could use some drastic improvements. The instructions include a page of workout suggestions despite the fact that the posters include repeats of these and many, many more. The workout posters have helpful illustrations of a ton of exercises, even showing which muscles are targeted. The matching posters are a good size at 16.5 x 22.5 inches. They’re slightly glossy, which is a nice detail. Another nice detail is that these have the exercise repeated on front and back, just arranged so that once side allows you to hang the poster horizontally, and the other side allows you to hang it vertically (landscape vs. portrait). It’s sad these thoughtful details are wasted on some laughable exercise titles due to poor translation (see my photos). Overall, I’m very happy with this set despite the printed material being super weird.

I've never used anything like this set of dumbbells. I was skeptical of how well they would function, but it is incredibly simple with how you twist the handles and works great! They adjust the weight very easily/fast and with this one set you have all kinds of different weights to work with so it saves a ton of space. We don't need anything more than this one set! Really great idea and this product works perfectly for us!

Got this for my father to do his workouts. He's a big dumbbells fan & loves my brother's Bowflex set. Still keeping fit heading up into his 70's, but he only uses 5-25 lbs now. This set is perfect for him! Captures all 5 pairs of weights (5-10-15-20-25) without taking up more than one dumbbell pair's worth of space! Love the easy to use "one click" system! Handles are full size and easy to grasp and rotate. Their one click system literally works exactly like they advertised. One click/twist in either direction (up or down) and the weight changes to that number. Then pick it up and you're ready to exercise. It's that easy to use. Each dumbbell comes with it's own storage/holder tray. Do not toss those out. Slots are designed to hold the weight plates upright in the "one click" position so that they're ready for weight changes. Just like the pictures show, this dumbbell set is basically the same size as my classic 25 lbs dumbbell. I like that they're not too bulky like my brother's Bowflex set. Much more manageable size! Great dumbbell set that works & saves space in your gym!
