One of our dogs is a large 100lb German Shepherd. I ordered the biggest sized bed. I did not get this for a crate, but rather so I can wash it, and have a large bed I can fold if/when she goes to my in-laws house. Her other beds are great here, but a pain to move around because they’re so large. It also seems like it would work well in a crate, as advertised. The bed is large, soft, not overly thick (but that’s too be expected for a crate bed) and cozy. It also is filling out more the second day. It comes in an airtight package and it always takes several days to get a real idea for things packaged like that. I hardly got it out of the wrapper, and our pets immediately walked over to it to lay down. My kids liked it too. Lol! There is plenty of room for our large German Shepherd and some cats to snuggle too. Hopefully our 50lb dog can reclaim her bed as well. I have yet to wash it, however did check and it fits in the machine. I will update this review if I have any issues washing it. In the past I’ve washed similar beds, then air dried them, so as not to have too much fluff in the dryer vents. Overall, I think this is a win. It’s a great value! I’d recommend this for sure. Got this as a crate pad. On the good side, with the pad in place I no longer wake randomly to the sound of toenails skittering around on the crate floor (a major plus!). The dogs seem to like it, and maybe sleep a bit more soundly. I'm sure it will help them sleep warmer through the winter due to the pad blocking drafts and convection. Thanks to the traction dots on the bottom, it doesn't move around when the dogs bounce around playing. I haven't needed to wash it yet, but I did a test-fit in the washer and dryer; it should fit just fine. This will make it easier to keep it clean, and extend the life of the pad. On the down side, the cover is loose. It never expanded to the nice 2" thickness shown in the pics. After expanding for a couple days, it was actually a bit larger (length and width) than the nominal size: when put in a crate of those dimensions, it is just a smidge too big, resulting in a couple of wrinkles. My terriers share the crate, so one of them sleeps on each side of the wrinkle. They don't seem to mind, so neither do I.

My two mini doxies love this soft bed. It's large enough they can share it or stretch out on their own. I put it on top of the bed as dachshunds have this habit of digging at surfaces they feel are a bit too firm to try to make them softer before they lie down. This can be very destructive to comforters and couches and such so I keep blankets or beds around on their typical sleeping surfaces to deter this behavior. This bed works perfectly - they just get on it and lay down - no digging. I will say this is a bit more of soft mat than a bed which is perfect for my use. It never expanded to the advertised two inch height - so I deducted a star. But honestly it's perfect for my needs. I haven't laundered it yet to know about if the filling will clump or stay nice. I'm hopeful this will last for some time - it appears to be very well made.

We had a dog bed in the bottom of a kennel in our house for when the neighbor visits. He decided to chew a hole in it so we needed to get something new. This is pretty no-frills, in a good way. It's a cushioned mat that fits well in the kennel. It has good padding so it's clearly comfortable. It's also durable and holds up for washing. Time will tell if the visiting dog tries to chew on it, but so far so good!

This bed is super soft and lush! My dog loves how big it is. It's easy to machine wash, which is a must. Unfortunately I can't leave my dog throughout the day with this bad otherwise he'll rip it up. When I'm home my dog loves to lay in this bed. I use it on the floor or on the couch, It's lightweight and easy to move.

It's funny how some people's beds fully expand while others do not. Mine did not. I gave it 48 hours, and this bed is nowhere near two inches thick. Aside from that, it is very easily compressible (and thus not very well padded). Whether this would be a good bed for you and your dog depends on your preferences and your intended purpose. Personally, for crates I prefer AT LEAST the amount of padding from two thick pieces of "sherpa"/fake sheepskin fleece sewn back to back to a thing with this negligible amount of fiber fill. I don't like this at all as a crate pad. Doubled in half, it would probably be cushioned enough for that purpose. If you're buying this bed to put in a crate, be aware that the sizing isn't very exact. My 18 inch by 29 inch bed measured more like 20x31. Possibly it would have worked out to be smaller in those dimensions if it had plumped up all the way.

Your dog will love this huge bed. It’s made of some really comfortable and soft material and it’s nice a big, could possibly fit three medium sized dog comfortably. Delivery was fast, arrived one day after ordering. I recommend this dog bed to all the owners out there looking for one.
