  • Just what you'd expect
Number of Items: 180
I didn't crimp these. I pealed the insulation off and soldered them on. So, I can't comment on them being heat shrinkable, but I can say that they work fine. It's nice to have an assortment on hand and this is pretty compact. I would say this is approximately 1" thick x 12" long x 9" wide. So, this fit in my tool chest along with my other electrical tools.... shrink tubing...etc. ... show more

  • Nice kit. Missing all blue butt connectors.

Just a heads up. Includes everything described, BUT, the blue butt connectors. Absolutely zero of the most popular and needed connector. Check yours. It is too late for me. Other than that it is a great kit,

  • Excellent product - shrink tubing is a bit large for - non-Marine grade wire - but works well - HQ
Number of Items: 250
Excellent product - shrink tubing is designed to be used with Marine Type 3 stranded wire, that wire has a larger diameter both the copper conductors and the insulation is typically larger than standard household wire of the same gauge therefore if you use these fittings on standard grade stranded wire you'll notice that the heat shrink tubing is a bit large for the gauge of wire it fits if you are using standard wire, it will fit perfectly with the thicker marine grade wire - because of that, if you do use this product with standard household wire you will have to apply a lot of heat from a heat gun to shrink the waterproof insulation for a tight fit. I have used these connectors to repair/rewire a dishwasher and it worked great, nice water-tight connection, very high quality connectors, much better than standard connectors - great assortment. ... show more

  • Works as It Should, Big Bang for the Buck

8-31-18 I'm reviewing the Ginsco 250 piece Terminals, crimp-on with the heatshrink & adhesive. I was just looking to replenish my electrical supplies and these terminals (some insulated, some not) were some of the specific supplies I was searching for. I use these for my weather protected connections. I use these on mostly automotive but I have used them on 110v household appliances, such as on the controls of something. I have used Ginsco's other electrical hardware, such as their adhesive filled, heat shrink, crimp butt connectors. They were referred to me by a friend who does YT videos, as he had used them as well, with good results. I'm glad I chose these, as these work as well as those I buy in the big box stores, but for 1/5 the cost! Maybe even less! These types of products or supplies can certainly add up. I've already used some of the terminals from this kit and so far, they all installed easily and passed the "tug test". The insulation is also intact after crimping, so they should hold up in the application I used this for, which was to wire up an aftermarket radio and dashcam in my own vehicle. I will definitely order from Ginsco in the future. I bought this from the seller "GinscoDirect" but fulfilled by Amazon, which I feel is important to list this info. I've come across sellers with variances in their items, including knockoffs, even if listed as same brand. I'll post an update with a durability review. ... show more

  • Great for basic wiring
Number of Items: 250
I use these all the time when I wire my car or another project. They are cheap and work great for waterproof connections. I usually use a lighter on the heat shrink and it works well, a heat gun is idea so the glue doesn't bubble too much. this is a great, cheap kit for the more basic things. I have yet to have one that has failed besides from my own doing ... show more

  • Case is pathetic
Number of Items: 250
Very disappointed I wish I would’ve returned these The reason I bought these is because it comes in a case that keeps them all separate and organize so you can get the pieces you need without digging through a mixed up mess The case they put these connectors in is too small the dividers are just stuck in there loosely they’re not even locked in place the picture is what it looks like when it arrived after you use it for a little bit the dividers seem to just fall over as soon as you start taking things out it becomes a bigger mess ... show more
