The media could not be loaded. A powerhouse for all the essentials. I bought this to be able to power my fridge, lights, router, modem, computer, TV, and charge my phones during any storms or power outages. It was easy to setup (just fill with oil) and it started on the first pull! I tested it out on loads that push it to the max (large air compressors and space heaters) and it performed flawlessly. My new generator showed up absolutely covered in oil. All on the outside, all on the inside, all on the inside of the plugs, all on the inside of the USB ports, this is unacceptable.

This review is for the SIOKIUU Store 2500W Portable Inverter Generator. I have wanted a small inverter generator for my outbuildings and to have as a backup power source for a small refrigerator that stores veterinary meds. I decided to give this unknown brand a try. Any time you deal with generating electrical power, RTFM first. Again, RTFM before trying to use this. Also be aware of NEC (National Electrical Code (USA)) grounding requirements with portable generators, or possibly suffer the consequences. Properly installed grounds are your friend. This is a floating neutral generator. Investigate that issue yourself, it is beyond the scope of this evaluation. After finding the correct 4 stroke oil to use in this generator, (SG / SF category of oil). Note this takes only 0.35L of oil, not much. The manual says this ONLY takes unleaded gasoline, E10 or higher octane. Starting the generator was fairly easy. Follow the instructions the first time. With the choke engaged, It took about 5 pulls to get the carburetor and lines filled. It popped right off on the 6th pull. It took about 1 min to settle down and run smoothly at 95*F. It did not pull hard. I pulled out my VOM and tested each outlet while it was idling. The USB-A put out 5.12vDC. The 12vDC cigarette port outputs 12.38vDC. The two 120vAC outlets output 119.8vAC. I do not have an oscilloscope to check if the output was truly a pure sine wave. In operation, this was relatively quiet and it did respond to current draws by increasing engine speed. (when the compressor on the fridge kicked in.) The manual is very well written, and the illustrations match the text closely. Any specifications, This is a nice little backup generator for small draw needs. It is compact, quiet, and the outputs are stable. This may be a good selection for your needs. ... show more
