Even with the dimensions written I still had a vision that was of a larger panel. Even the bars seem just a touch smaller than expected. After its dug into the ground its not very high either. I'm using this for a raised garden. It's a 8' x 4'. Rabbits been getting in there. Thought if I could block it some It would feel too trapped to bother hopping around the fence. Each panel is made of coated metal. Dont think it'll rust. Almost half its height goes into the ground which does a good job of stabilizing, but shortens the overall height quite a bit. They include some zip-ties. I'm using them as extra fence I guess. Put a few together and tie around the top. We'll see if it helps. The ties are to strengthen the fence overall. Zip each panel tighter together for more support. I can tell that even when placed in the loose dirt they wont blow over from weather. Animal might be able to move them though. During the early stages of growth they'll act as a trellis for the plants. I could probably make a nice one with what I have. If your planning on reinforcing a fence this may help. If you already have a dog digging under your fence I dont think this will be enough. Small to small medium dog will struggle, but much over that I think they'll just push past it. We usually end up with a few areas along the fence where raccoons, skunks etc.. sneak through. I'll move these when the time comes. Raccoons with their crazy little hands though. Again we'll see. I'll try to update. Right now I cant make a case for or against this use. I think these work better as reinforcement. Your garden or flower bed should have something more traditional. Though they will work to a degree. I wish they were made of a thicker metal and a little longer and higher.

I chose the set of five panels. I only needed a few of these for one troublesome spot, so it's nice there's an option to order a set of five rather than having to order a large quantity that would be way more than I need. I like the design of these. They have clean lines as opposed to looking busy or overly decorative. I like the basic black color, as well. The fence panels are easy to install. They are lightweight but made of strong, sturdy metal. The spikes on the bottom are long enough that I could sink them deeply into the ground for a sturdy installation and also to act as a barrier to digging dogs or other digging critters. The slats are spaced closely enough together to keep my two small dogs from getting through them for sure, and are probably close enough to keep out other critters such as rabbits, possums and armadillos. You could also use these as a barrier above the ground for keeping animals out of flowers, plants, freshly planted grass, etc. Some animals could easily jump over them but plenty of smaller animals wouldn't bother to try unless there was something really tempting on the other side. Plastic zip ties are included if you want to use them to join the panels together, but for my purposes I can skip those; the panels went in the ground nice and sturdy so the ties aren't really needed. Overall, these are nice looking and sort of disappear, so they are not too noticeable or distracting. I like the basic black color and the long, pointed spikes for easy installation -- just push them into the ground. The spikes are long enough to discourage digging animals an the slats are close together to keep critters either in or out.

These are much better than some of the cheap wire garden fence that I've seen. The sections are constructed of heavy gauge wire, securely welded together, and uniformly painted. The individual sections are easily connected using the included cable ties. They even included a nice "nipper" to clip the ends of the ties. While these may discourage an occasional critter, they are mostly decorative. However, when one of our neighborhood bunnies hopped up on the pictured planter and ate my freshly-planted tomato, I knew I would need stronger protection. --Especially since said bunny made it through the electric fence to get to the tomato. Using four of the sections, I was able to create an impenetrable cage of steel to stop future nibbling. As an afterthought, I added a fifth piece on top, securing it with a couple more ties. Once the plant is big enough to lose its succulent allure, the parts can be installed in front of the house as decorative edging. Now that I've had opportunity to examine the fencing, I'm of the opinion that it can be used to prevent digging under a fence, although a good-sized dog could easily pull them out unless you also attach them to the supporting fence. I'm also very interested in installing these along the edge of my deck to keep raccoons, skunks, and woodchucks from establishing residence.

The fence set was delivered on-time, complete and as advertised by the seller. In addition to the 5 fence sections, the package contains an instruction sheet, cable-ties, work gloves and snips to cut the cable-ties. This is an effective solution to our continued attempts to keep escape-artist Sophie inside the bounds of our backyard. I am pleased with the inclusion of clear instructions, work gloves, cable ties and snips. Unlike other, similar fence solutions where the segments interlock, the LSOSH fence sections are joined together using the cable-ties. In one of the fence sections I received, two weld joints were broken; not enough to render the section useless, but sufficient for me to reduce my rating by one star.
