This was exactly what I needed for my home office. I recently got an UPLIFT standing desk and have been trying to set everything up perfectly. The last thing on my home-office-renovation checklist was properly mounting my webcam. I do a ton of video conferencing for work, as well as recording screencasts, etc., so having a simple way to mount my webcam as opposed to carefully balanacing it on top of my monitors was a necessity. This thing is PERFECT. It slides right into the logitech 4k cam, is very taught so it's easy to move around and reposition, and holds form 100% of the time.     • It's more semi permanent than easily mobile. That's what we needed
My wife was using a webcam holder that was a nice scissors unit, and easy to move around. It moved too easily in her application however, and created motion in her viewers scene while in use. We needed something that was moveable, but took some work to do it. After reading reviews that many people disliked this one because they couldn't easily reach up and move it freely to a new position or angle, we figured this was exactly what we needed for her desk top, video tarot reading. It works exactly like that. It stays locked into her card scene. She's svelte and she has to stand up and grab with both hands to move into a new place. And right there is where it stays till she needs to move it again. She likes that. It's like a rigid mount, yet still moveable when you need it to be moved. If you need your webcam to be moved around and change angles while sitting there, this is not a good choice. It's not going to allow you to reach up with one hand and put subtle tweaks to its position. It is very stiff. However, if you need something solid that will be in the same place even if the desk gets bumped, the pets and kids run past or an earthquake hits, but still would like to change it's position from time to time, this is the one. ... show more

    • Heavy duty construction, a lot more than I expected
I'm really surprised by the build quality in the flexible mount. I was expecting a cheap flex arm when I ordered this. This thing has a rock steady clamp, heavy duty flex arm and removable mounting head. The flex arm is covered with some type of tough black plastic coating. When you bend the arm, it definitely isn't going to be moved out of position very easily. It takes a bit of pressure and two hands to move this into a new position. I can't imagine any camera or device you mount is going to make this accidentally bend. The mount can be removed by squeezing two tabs together and sliding it out. The bottom of the mount has a small ball adjuster which seems to just connect to the flex arm. The mounting head allows up/down and left/right movement.1/4" threaded connector for your devices. If you are looking for a flex arm, this is a great choice. ... show more

    • Very stiff & hard to bend, also received used scratched product
Received a used item with scratches on the plastic that had been carelessly wrapped in crumpled plastic. No box or instructions included. The cable is incredibly stiff and hard to bend, so if you are planning on moving your camera around a lot, look elsewhere. You would have to be a weightlifter to bend it as shown in the picture. I have a straight vertical set-up & just leave it in one position, so for that it is fine. Since it works and serves its intended purpose, I am not going to bother returning. Just annoyed I was charged full price for a used item with signs of wear. ... show more

    • Works as advertised!
I'm a Twitch streamer and I have two of these. Both hold a Logitech C920. One I use to hold my main webcam for gaming, the other holds a camera that points down at my desk when I do a creative stream. It's length makes it great for that. Because of my desk location these are attached to my desk and if someone walks into the room, the vibration does make the camera shake. If possible, I would recommend attaching it to a shelf on the wall or something like that. ... show more

    • Great in theory but not in practice
Great in theory but not in practice. It's hard to manipulate to get it into the right position/shape without the camera be off kilter. When I finally got it right, I screwed on the webcam and the entire mount broke off the arm. Very disappointed.

Using with a Logitech c930e. The mount hold true with a slight bend, and vertical. No support. The base pivots on all axis: horizontal, vertical, swivel. Basically anyway that works for you.
