I love the sink however, I could be wrong, but it doesn't have the sound or appearance or weight of stainless steel. Like I said I might be wrong but if had the feel and sound more of plastic. Distancing for the money commercial type kitchen sink attractive look Easy to clean can use Windex or any other Household grease or oil remover stainless steel gauge was on the thin side but plenty of sound deadening material. I did return the sink was not the style for my elderly parents the sink did come damaged left corner was bent had a small Nick in it too could’ve been straightened with two pieces of wood and a large pair of pliers but not the style my elderly parents were looking for ... show more

I gambled on an open box version of this sink and only noticed a few light scratches around the sink hole but by the end of our first week we couldn't believe how scratched up the sink became. We were very cautious, using only microfiber towels to wipe it down after use but we can only guess something abrasive must've worked its way into the towel and did a number during subsequent wipes. We plan on using a scratch removal kit down the road along with a sink liner but we were disappointed that even being cautious didn't help much.
