    • Wrenches Won’t Disappear… But the Clips Sure Will
The tools are great. Do what they should in the sizes needed. Ratcheting box-wrenches are ideal in many cases. The tool-roll containment is also great and has a clearly-labeled spot for each wrench. To borrow a phrase from my father, "A place for everything and everything in its place.". Eliminates guesswork and just throwing them all in a drawer, followed by rummaging around for the 10mm. But those plastic quick-release clips are horribly substandard! They broke within about a week so won't clip closed. They also can't be replaced. So, be sure to pick up a couple of basic velcro straps to hold the roll closed. ... show more

I have been using these for a year and a month now. For the price, you really can't beat the quantity and quality. I wrench on things daily and these wrenches have not given me any issues. I really like the fact that it's a complete set and the warranty is amazing. "Lifetime warranty, no questions asked" is the best warranty a company can offer. In my several years of wrenching on things, I have found that a warranty such as this either means one of two things: 1) The product is so cheaply made that the company can offer to replace them when they break with no impact to their finances. 2) The product is so well made that the company doesn't have to offer replacements very often. I read several reviews of this set of wrenches along with several other competitors before I made my purchase and I can say that I am thoroughly impressed with the wrench set and happy with my purchase. These wrenches are a quality product and for an amazing price. I would recommend them to anyone and buy them again myself if I ever needed to. ... show more

    • Solid set with a couple minor quirks
Size: 26pc Inch + Metric Style: Ratcheting Wrench Set
This Jaeger 26-piece ratcheting wrench set is a good value overall. The TIGHTSPOT design works well in tight spaces, and having both SAE and metric coverage in one set is convenient. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and the build quality feels solid for the price point. The wrenches grip fasteners well and the ratcheting action has held up through regular use in my shop and on various projects. The case keeps everything organized, though it's a bit bulky for mobile work. I'm knocking off one star for a couple reasons: First, the box end would be much more useful if it were offset. The straight design limits access in some situations where an offset would shine. Second, the 8mm ratchet feels kind of weird—the mechanism doesn't feel as smooth or confidence-inspiring as the other sizes. Not sure if it's just mine or a design issue, but it's noticeable. Despite these minor issues, this is still a good set that gets the job done. For the money, you're getting a lot of functional tools. Just be aware of those quirks going in. Would recommend for DIYers and home mechanics looking for a budget-friendly ratcheting wrench set! ... show more

I rarely write reviews, so when I do, it’s because I’m truly impressed. These wrenches are very high quality. The ratchets are tight with a very low rotational degree per click. The simple design of just flipping the wrench over to change direction eliminates multiple points of failure. One slight negative is that to achieve this design, there is no angular offset (IE: The wrenches are straight/flat). This can make certain applications difficult. But they are great for the applications they are designed for. They are also long shank giving you more torque when dealing with stubborn fasteners. The range of sizes for their master sets are also impressive. And lastly, the roll up storage pouches are first class with a space for each wrench, a flap to keep them in place while transporting and even a zipper compartment for additional items. I 1000% recommend these tools and will buy more of Jaeger’s products. ... show more

    • Worth The Chance!
I searched for a long while to find my next set of wrenches. Usually I go with Proto’s, but thought I’d try a new brand since they are all made in China or Taiwan anyways. I was tired of buying a brand’s name. Kind of like Frosted Flakes and the generic brand…the only difference is the price due to the name. All that being said, I bought a set of these in standard and metric. To start, the carrying cases that come with them are really nice. Great for storage and keeping them organized. The ratchet part of the wrench is clean and perfect for limited space. They have a good weight to them as well and feel very solid. Well made. Now for a few less than perfect parts. Many of the reviews are correct, they come with a protective layer of oil on them. Like they were packaged right off the assembly line. Not a big deal. Nothing a rag can’t fix. Many of them have surface scuffs on them as well. Not an issue since they are gonna used for work and not put up for display. Just wish I was the one that could have done the scuffing. lol! Like a few others stated, I did have a few that were scratched pretty bad with a rust in them. Those were the only ones that I was worried about. Just as I was about to reach out to the seller, they beat me to it with an email explaining the warranty on the items and their guarantee. That said a lot about their customer service, so I replied to them and explained the situation I received. After sending them a few pictures, they took care of me immediately. They responded quickly and were very professional. The replacements came fast and were perfect! I will definitely be recommending this company to others. ... show more
