Less than 6 months of normal use and the area that connects the adapter to the cord that runs to the laptop is coming undone, exposing hot copper wires that SPARK and are a FIRE HAZARD. Really disappointed that I paid so much for something that's coming apart in less than a year and putting my safety at risk... ... show more

Laptop charges fine when not under load, but when doing anything intensive that would increase the power drain like gaming or running multiple programs, the laptop will stop charging intermittently and eventually the AC transformer will overheat and cease charging until it cools down. This is due to the power cord not being able to send enough power to the laptop and overburdening itself. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because it still works perfectly fine as a spare for travel or to charge the laptop before mobile use, but a cheaper one would likely also be able to do that ... show more
