This is a fun electronic basketball goal. Assembly was fairly easy and everything works well. The electronic sensor scores great with every shot. The one thing I'm not fond of is the way they made the hooks over the door. The way it's designed won't allow the top of the backboard to line up with the bottom and it sticks out. The pads would help protect it and keep the backboard flush, but there's a gap. Still seems to work well, so it's a minor thing.

Before I even opened the box, I had high hopes, because it feels pretty hefty, which I assumed meant it would be really sturdy. And I was about half right. The rim is really sturdy, and everything assembles really easily, but the backboard is just trash. Not only is it really thin plastic, but it folds in half, with just a couple little hinges in the middle. Right in the middle of the backboard, where it needs to be the strongest. It just makes no sense at all. This had some potential, but the backboard just ruins it. If that rim and other hardware were mounted on a one-piece backboard that was about 3x as thick, this would easily be a 5-star product. But with the flimsy, hinged backboard, it's borderline unusable. Get something better.

The backboard isn’t even a single piece, it’s two pieces that you have to screw together. The lights have to be zip tied to the rim and the hangers that g over the door aren’t sized correctly and the back board bounces and shakes with every throw. It’s cheaply made and not worth the money. I’m very dissatisfied with this purchase and was really forward to it as was my kid.
