I am getting old and these days having something that can roll vs being picked up and carried is very enticing to me. I have a dog food container that is not on wheels but thought it would be so nice to have wheels on it. I wiped everything down with alcohol let dry and placed 4 of these on container. Even though I read the wheel measurement on the description, I was surprised at how small they looked when I took them out of the package. With that said, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they roll and how strong they adhere to whatever you use them on. I used them on a three foot Christmas-ornaments plastic container. I won’t roll the container to the garage (don’t want to chance it), but it was just fine to roll the container around the tree to take the ornaments down and to roll container (once my son carried it the garage) to its assigned wall niche until next Christmas. As other have stated, these wheels are great to use on items kept on the kitchen counter. I’ve also used them on other items throughout the house that I didn’t realize would be easier to handle if they had wheels. ... show more

I installed these on a wire shelf unit in a narrow pantry area to replace the large swivel rollers. Since my space was very narrow, the swivel rollers would not allow me to move the unit straight in and out. I had to add some wood blocks at the bottor in order to mount the rollers. So far, they work well, but, we have a wood floor and since the rollers are so small, they sometimes get stuck in a seam. If they were just a bit larger, they'd be great. ... show more
